As of today, the Academy of Heroes is once again open for business.
My young apprentice Sun has returned for some additional training. It has been seven weeks since I last saw her - and again she has made no progress on her own. She seems incapable of progressing without my help. So be it.
Sun picked up where she left off by fighting and killing a level 15 warped bat. It took her six attacks to bring it down.
For winning her ninth fight, Sun advanced to level 12. I was awarded 2 large prismatic stars and 300 sheets of magic notepaper, in addition to the small prismatic lamp I received as my daily prize. I used the lamp to gain Runecrafting XP, and the stars to gain Firemaking BXP.
Sun's next opponent will be a level 17 crassian warrior. This will be her toughest fight yet, but I am confident she will be victorious. I noticed Sun has now traded in her old bronze armor for some new iron gear. It is good to see my student advancing her combat prowess.
I have not spoken to Sun regarding the mysterious events I have experienced on Ashdale and in The Wilderness. My young pupil has her own battles to concern herself with.

This afternoon, Sun defeated that level 17 crassian warrior. It took her six attacks to kill it.
For winning her tenth fight, Sun advanced to level 13. I was awarded a huge prismatic star, a large prismatic star, and 100 springs, in addition to the large and small prismatic lamps I claimed as my daily prizes. I used both lamps to gain Runecrafting XP, and both stars to gain Firemaking BXP.
Sun's next opponent will be another level 15 warped bat. The first time Sun faced one of these creatures, she was at level 11. Now that she has attained level 13, she should have an easier time beating this bat.

I chopped six normal trees north of Lumbridge Market, then used these logs to fashion a basic wood box. Next, I chopped six oak logs and used these to upgrade my wood box to an oak wood box. Then I headed west to chop six willow logs, which I used to upgrade my oak wood box to a willow wood box.
The willow wood box can store willow logs, as well as logs of lesser tiers.
Thrilling. *yawn*
The rune ore box is a far more useful item than this wood box.

Well, those boneheads, Pete and Pete, have fouled everything up again!
The skulls have misplaced the belongings of the dead. For every 100 last wills I bring to the Petes, I will earn some forgotten belongings. This afternoon, I turned in 400 last wills I had gathered. In return, I received four medium parcels, then claimed a fifth medium parcel for free. I opened these parcels to find:
75 pure essence
4 heaps of infernal ashes
6 sets of baby dragon bones
A set of dragon bones
I also found some useless member items:
A Fishing item XP enhancer
4 green blubber jellyfish
2 tuna potatoes

This afternoon, Sun defeated her second level 15 warped bat. It took her five attacks to bring it down. The first time she fought a warped bat, it took her six attacks to kill it. Progress.
For winning her 11th fight, Sun advanced to level 14. I was awarded a huge prismatic star, a medium prismatic lamp, and a medium cash bag, in addition to the medium prismatic lamp I claimed as my daily prize. I used the lamps to gain Magic and Ranged XP, and the star to gain Firemaking BXP.
Sun's next opponent will be a level 11 hobgoblin. Under normal conditions, I am sure she would handily defeat such a foe. However, the Academy of Heroes is scheduled to shut down again after tomorrow, so the hobgoblin will probably survive until the next time - albeit with a wound or two to remember Sun by.

This afternoon, I brought Postie Pete another 200 last wills. In return, he gave me a medium and a large parcel of forgotten belongings. Then I claimed a small parcel for free.
I opened the small parcel to find 10 sets of bones and 5 buckets of slime.
I opened the medium parcel to find 30 pure essence and 2 tuna potatoes.
The large parcel contained nothing but useless member trash:

A Fishing perk enhancer
A large delivery parcel

The Academy of Heroes will once again close its' doors this evening.
As I expected, Sun landed a solid hit against that level 11 hobgoblin, but did not defeat this foe. She remains at level 14. Most likely, she will still be at level 14 when the Academy reopens, if Sun returns once again to resume her training.
Sun and I said our farewells as she once again prepared to go. Before she left, she told me she is considering exploring The Wilderness. I advised my young student to wait until she is more experienced. The Wild is not as dangerous as it used to be, but Sun is definitely not ready to battle demons or dragons on her own.
I have invested a good amount of time training Sun. It would be a shame to lose her.
