This afternoon I completed Daily Challenges in Crafting, Thieving, and Prayer. I brought five gold bars to the Lumbridge furnace and made five gold amulets, which I then low-alched. Next, I pickpocketed a woman once and a man five times as they wandered through Lumbridge Market. The man caught and assaulted me several times. As soon as I fulfilled the Thieving challenge, I sliced him in two using Arteria. He dropped grimy guam, plus I buried his bones at the market to advance the Prayer task by one before I teleported to Edgeville.
I entered Edgeville Dungeon, where I gathered five sets of bones and buried them. After I fought a dozen poison spiders, I went back and gathered five more sets of bones and buried four of them to complete the Prayer challenge. I redeemed my challenges, then picked up an additional five sets of bones before I teleported back to Lumbridge and added six sets of bones to my bank.
Redeeming today's Daily Challenges got me 72 Prayer.
I had been holding on to a shining large prismatic lamp I had won on Treasure Hunter when I first logged in today. At first, I thought I would use this lamp to gain a Prayer level, but since it turned out that I got a new Prayer level without using the lamp, I decided to rub it to reach 72 Dungeoneering instead.

This evening I completed Daily Challenges in Dungeoneering, Woodcutting, and Combat. I used a challenge token to skip the Dungeoneering task. Next, I headed for the yews west of Lumbridge Market and began chopping yew logs. My friend Ricky was here, so we chatted a little while we chopped yews. Often, I will find him here, when we aren't killing goblin raiders. Once I had chopped 10 yew logs, I said goodbye to Ricky before I teleported to Varrock, telling him I was going to squash some deadly reds in the sewer.
I made my way through the Varrock sewer system, ignoring the weaker monsters along the way. It took me three attempts to pass the spider web. When I was through, I approached the deadly red spiders and began slaying them. I caught spiders #5 and #6 in a Cleave attack from Arteria, and they both attacked me at the same time. I quickly dispatched one, then the other. On two separate occasions later on, I delivered the killing blow to a deadly red by Backhanding it! I dispatched 15 of these spiders and claimed my daily rewards. Then I teleported back to Lumbridge.
Redeeming today's Daily Challenges got me 69 Woodcutting.

Late tonight I entered the Mining Guild to do some mining.
I began by mining runite ores. Once I had 22 of these ores in my pack, I reached 77 Mining. After I had added 100 runite ores to my rune ore box, I went on to mine 100 coal. Next, I mined 100 luminite in the Dwarven Mine. There was a king scorpion here menacing a couple of other miners, but Arteria and I quickly handled that. With 300 ores in my ore box, I then teleported to Varrock.
From the lodestone, I ran west to the northern end of the southwest Varrock mine, where I mined 100 mithril ores. This satisfied my current Yak Track task by mining 400/375 ores.
While mining, I discovered 48 geodes. Exactly half of these contained a spirit shard. Out of the 24 gems I found, 8 were uncommon gems - 5 sapphires, 2 rubies, and a diamond. I cut these gems, plus I successfully cut all of the common gems I found, except for the 2 opals I smashed to bits with my chisel. Sometimes I don't know my own strength!

I began earning Spring Tokens by dancing around the ceremonial stone. This activity granted me Prayer XP. After I accumulated over a thousand tokens, I moved towards the Tree Of Balance and caught some butterflies within the giant butterfly swarm. This awarded no XP or BXP, though I did find some tokens.
Next, I earned Cooking XP and about 500 more tokens by brewing potions in the cauldrons.
Finally, I earned Fletching XP and roughly 500 additional tokens by carving three different Guthix-themed icons out of wood. When I finished, I had 2,103 Spring Tokens.
I returned to the shop. I had browsed this shop when I first arrived at the festival. The Sword Of Edicts had caught my eye. I decided to spend 2,000 tokens to purchase this cosmetic override. The remaining 103 tokens are in my currency pouch.
I previewed the Sword Of Edicts in my wardrobe. I do like the look of this weapon.
Ah, my precious Arteria - be warned. You may now have a serious rival for my affection!

This afternoon I did more skilling at the Spring Festival.
First, I began celebrating by dancing around the druidic stone. I earned Prayer XP and Spring Tokens. After a while, I moved on to carving the icons, earning Fletching XP and more tokens. Shortly afterwards, a giant Guthixian butterfly spawned near the Tree Of Balance, so I caught many butterflies within the swarm. I found additional tokens.
Once the swarm had been dealt with, I returned to carving the Guthix-themed icons. Eventually, I earned enough XP through this activity to reach 66 Fletching.
When I finished, I had 2,200 Spring Tokens in my currency pouch.

Tonight I completed Daily Challenges in Runecrafting, Mining, and Prayer. I used a challenge token to skip the Runecrafting task because I didn't feel like bringing essence to an altar to craft runes. Next, I went to the southeast Lumbridge mine and mined 10 copper ores. Then, I buried 10 sets of big bones in front of the Lumbridge Market bank chest.
Redeeming today's Daily Challenges got me 64 Runecrafting.
Later tonight I did some additional mining at the southwest Varrock mine. I collected 50 copper ores, 50 tin ores, 100 iron ores, and 20 mithril ores. At this point, I teleported directly to the Spring Festival.
Soon after I arrived, a giant Guthixian butterfly spawned near the Tree Of Balance. I caught many butterflies within the swarm and found additional Spring Tokens.
Once the swarm was gone, I brewed potions for a brief time, earning Cooking XP and more tokens. When I finished, I had 3,201 Spring Tokens.
I spent 3,000 Spring Tokens on a mystery egg. I went to the west Varrock bank, equipped my Ring of Luck, and smashed the egg. Here's what I got:
Three small butterfly jars and a medium butterfly jar. Nothing but useless member trash that cannot even be banked!
My tokens were completely wasted on this crap. I am displeased.

Redeeming today's Daily Challenges got me 73 Dungeoneering.
Two levels to go until I can access that hidden mine north of Al Kharid.
