This afternoon I won a small phoenix lamp, which I used on Ranged. The lamp was not consumed and I unlocked the Phoenix Mimic pet. I used the lamp a second time to gain some Magic XP. I also received two medium phoenix lamps. I used both of them on Firemaking.

I spoke with Luna, leader of the small group of werewolves visiting Draynor. She asked me to assist Greg with some invading skeletons and Ed with an attacking sea monster.
First, I spoke with Greg at the southwest corner of the manor grounds. He suggested a vampiric weapon would be best for dealing with these skeletons. I borrowed a magical compass from Luna and used it to find a sword hilt and a blade buried on the manor grounds. I brought these to Greg, who fused the two parts into a sword. Using the sword to dispatch 20 skeletons did not fully activate the sword - but I did so by giving it a drop of my own blood. I then used the fully activated sword (which calls itself Arteria) to destroy another 50 skeletons. I unlocked and applied the Arteria cosmetic weapon override.
I located Ed at the northeast corner of the manor grounds. He had set up three cannons to blast the sea monster threatening Draynor. He just needed some bait to draw the creature out of the nearby river. He suggested I speak with Greg. I netted six anchovies and six shrimp. I banked the anchovies in Draynor and brought the shrimps to Greg. He cooked them nicely. I returned to Ed and gave the bait to him. The monster emerged and I used all three cannons to obliterate the beast.
Ed, Greg, and I returned to Luna and gave her the good news. Morgan from the village joined us. I helped him a while back with a little trouble Draynor had been having with a vampyre. The villagers and the werewolves became friends, Ed and Greg decided to be more than friends, and Luna awarded me 1,000 spooky tokens for my help.
I spent 4,000 spooky tokens to purchase Death's Scythe cosmetic weapon override.
With all the miniquests done, I've continued to battle some skeletons and to blast some smaller sea monsters. I have also been preparing some plague soup and helped a few fragmented souls. These activities have raised my Cooking and Fishing levels to 52.
Love,
Kat

Early this morning I shot some more sea monsters with Ed's cannons. Then I prepared some more plague soup. These activities raised my Cooking and Fishing levels to 53.

First thing this morning I shot a few more sea monsters with Ed's cannons. Then I prepared some more plague soup. After getting 54 Cooking, I went back to the cannons for some additional target practice. I kept firing until I hit 54 Fishing.
Currently I have 10,405 spooky tokens, not including the 4,000 tokens I have already spent.

This afternoon I returned to the Runespan. I siphoned enough runes to reach 56 Runecrafting. I am now able to craft 5 mind runes per essence. I also completed and redeemed another Daily Runecrafting Challenge. Once again, I waited to claim this XP reward until after I had leveled. As a result, I attained 57 Runecrafting. I am now able to craft 4 water runes per essence.
I teleported from the Runespan to Varrock. After clearing out some items from my bank and selling them on the Grand Exchange, I took out my water talisman, banked my Explorer's Ring, and had Aubury teleport me to the rune essence mine. I mined 27 essence, then teleported to Lumbridge. I made my way to the water altar, where I crafted 108 water runes to complete the Not Waving But Drowning achievement
I have now completed all but two of the Lumbridge area tasks. I have one medium task and one hard task remaining. In order to complete these, I will need to start the Dragon Slayer quest and raise my Magic to level 59. Then I can fully upgrade my Explorer's Ring.
Love,
Kat
