Dear Diary,

This afternoon I met the Queen of Snow. She was in Burthorpe, south of the bank.

The Snow Queen told me of this new Yak Track she is hosting. She also told me about her home realm, The Land of Snow - a place of perpetual cold and winter. Listening to her tale completed the first task on the Yak Track. I was awarded the Snow Queen's Yeoman Outfit.

Her Majesty is strikingly beautiful with icy white skin quite similar to my own. Could I have come from this Land of Snow she spoke so warmly of? My origins continue to be a mystery. Perhaps Her Majesty can shed some light upon the question I have been asking since my arrival on Gielinor: Who is Kat Stryke?

I need to know more. Getting to know the Queen of Snow may help me to know my true self better. I have a feeling there are answers to be had here. Will I like the answers I find?

Dear Diary,

This evening I completed my three Daily Challenges. I smithed steel arrowheads and chopped willow logs in Lumbridge. My third task was to craft runes at an altar. I didn't feel like doing this, so I used a challenge skip token. I redeemed these tasks and got 58 Runecrafting.

It was close, but I kept the streak of weeks of completed challenges going. I am at 3 now.

With this level gain, my Total Level is now 1130.

Dear Diary,

On the 1st of this month, medium prismatic lamps were 75% off, so each one cost just 75 oddments. I spent 1,875 oddments to buy 25 lamps. I also received two free medium prismatic lamps as the first Advent present. I decided to use all 27 lamps at once to raise my Prayer level from 58 to 62. This in turn raised my combat level to 81.

This evening I also burned 10 maple logs to complete a Firemaking task. This got me 77 Firemaking.

Dear Diary,

This evening I used a Combat Challenge XP lamp that I had earned yesterday to raise my Ranged to level 55. Now I can use the combat ability Bombardment. After reset, I used my Explorer's Ring 2 to cast 30 Low Level Alchemy spells. As I cast the eighth spell, I got 55 Magic. Now I can use the combat ability Wild Magic. Also, I can cast High Level Alchemy.

In addition, I now have the skill levels to use gravite magic and ranged weapons.

Dear Diary,

Early this morning I returned from my 13th trip to Daemonheim.

Previously, I had made two attempts to clear Floor 14 on Complexity 6. Both times I was prevented from completing this floor by a puzzle. Finally, I have cleared this floor!

I encountered no puzzles this time, and there were two skilling doors. I managed to go through these doors after forcing a bar off of one door and reforging a broken key to unlock the other door.

In one room I battled a level 79 skeleton. This was a fun fight! Arteria and I hacked and slashed this skeleton quite a bit, and it wounded me to roughly half of my health. Then I punched the skeleton - and it completely fell apart! Hahaha! Later I defeated a level 64 animated pickaxe. The pickaxe fell to the floor with a clang and vanished. However, it did drop six cooked dusk eels. What does an animated pickaxe need cooked fish for, and where was it carrying this food? Daemonheim is a strange place indeed.

I found enough rusty coins to purchase four zephyrium ores, which I smelted and smithed into a zephyrium full helm, gauntlets, and boots, so I had full zephyrium gear.

In the boss room I fought a Hobgoblin Geomancer for the second time. This can be a mildly annoying boss to fight, as he can teleport around the room and hurl earth spells. I ran in, charged this boss, and quickly killed him. He caused no damage to me.

The hobgoblin dropped a pair of gallileather boots.

Before leaving the dungeon, I sold all my food and my unbound armor so I could buy more logs to train Firemaking.

Completing this dungeon also completed a Daily Dungeoneering Challenge.

After retrieving my gear from the bank, I stopped by the Rewards Trader's stall. I bought a gem bag for 2,000 tokens and a gravite 2h sword for 40,000 tokens. The sword was damaged, so I made him repair it. This cost me 800,000gp. The sword now has 100% of its charges. It is a T55 weapon. I can deal some serious damage with this sword! *grins*

It was nice to meet you at the Al Kharid mine on Friday afternoon, Kat.

Good work breaking E.T. out of that crashed star. It was admirable how you focused on freeing the star sprite and ignored the scorpions completely - until the moment we broke through the core. Then you killed a scorp that got too close. Hehe.

Thank you, Aslon Dak. It was nice meeting you as well. I appreciated your assistance with the shooting star. That was only the second one I ever mined. E.T. lol

Truth be told, when I first signed up here back in March, I saw your thread in this subforum. It inspired me to create this diary, so thanks for the inspiration.

Dear Diary,

Here are my most recent skill level gains:

9 December
reached prayer level 63
reached crafting level 69

12 December
reached ranged and magic level 56
reached dungeoneering level 64

13 December
reached ranged and magic level 57
reached prayer level 64

These levels were gained by completing and redeeming Daily Challenges, except for the levels in Ranged and Magic. I did train those during normal combat a little, but I also used two medium hydra lamps and several medium prismatic lamps to raise those skills. I also used a couple of lamps to boost my Prayer. I used a challenge skip token to auto-complete the Dungeoneering task, because I was running short on time to complete that day's challenges, and regular Dungeoneering would have taken too long.

I have now successfully completed five weeks of Daily Challenges. I rarely skip tasks.

Dear Diary,

Postie Pete and Parcel Pete have managed to get themselves in a bit of a holiday jam. Christmas presents got wrapped in brown parcel paper, while ordinary parcels got wrapped in Christmas paper.

In exchange for bringing him Christmas paper, Postie Pete has promised to give me some of the excess presents. So far, I have given him 200 pieces of Christmas paper. True to his word, he gave me a white present. Inside I found a mince pie, 10 silverhawk down (useless member trash), and a small star, which I used to gain 5,072 BXP in Firemaking.
