Dear Diary,

Late last night I completed two of today's three Daily Challenges by cooking crayfish and chopping yew logs. Upon redeeming these challenges, I got 62 Woodcutting.

Then I banked everything I was wearing and had in my backpack. I took out my Ring of Kinship and teleported to Daemonheim in order to complete my third challenge: Dungeoneering.

Dear Diary,

Early this morning I returned from my 11th trip to Daemonheim.

Before I entered the dungeon I spent 15,500 tokens at the rewards shop to buy a Brawler's Hook Necklace. This item has a Strength bonus of +24. My Amulet of Strength gives +18.

I cleared Floor 13 on Complexity 6. This was the second of the Abandoned floors I have explored. It was here I said goodbye to an old friend.

This level contained one puzzle room and one skilling door. In one room I found a mosaic of green and yellow tiles in the center of the floor. I imbued some green tiles to flip them to yellow. I had to force six individual green tiles to change them. This damaged me, but not greatly. Once all the tiles were yellow, the doors in the room unlocked. Later I passed a door after I repaired a broken key, then unlocked the door.

In one room I battled a level 78 skeleton mage that attacked me with fire spells. The skeleton wounded me for about half my 6900 lifepoints, but I beat it.

I found enough rusty coins to purchase five zephyrium ores, which I smelted and smithed into a zephyrium 2h sword and a zephyrium pickaxe, after examining the monster in the boss room just south of the starting room.

In the boss room I fought a Bulwark Beast for the first time. This was a fun boss to fight. First I had to wield my new pickaxe to get through the beast's stone plating. After I had broken through its protection, I switched to using my new sword. The beast's attacks were not very damaging. I slashed, smashed, and stabbed it to death fairly quickly. I brought 24 dusk eels with me, yet I did not eat any of them during the fight.

The beast dropped a fractite pickaxe. I also found part 7 of the Mysterious Chronicle. With my inventory full (24 dusk eels, 2 pickaxes, my rusty coins, and my bound fractite 2h sword), I chose to destroy my fractite 2h sword so I could grab the chronicle. I added the zephyrium 2h sword to my bind pool.

This completed my Daily Dungeoneering Challenge.

Dear Diary,

This morning I completed today's three Daily Challenges by burning 10 yew logs, carving then stringing 6 maple shieldbows, and thieving bread and cakes from a Lumbridge Market stall. After I redeemed these challenges, I got 58 Fletching. Now I can make emerald-tipped mithril bolts. I had 1,000 mithril bolts in my bank. Then I fashioned them into sapphire bolts.

I will be making more mithril bolts. I should also restock my supply of feathers.

Dear Diary,

This evening I used a medium smouldering lamp to reach 54 Ranged.

Tonight I alched a full inventory of gold amulets. After the 12th amulet, I got 54 Magic.

I completed two of today's three Daily Challenges by mining the gold ores to make those 28 gold amulets and by chopping 10 yew logs.

I banked the logs plus everything I was wearing and took out my Ring of Kinship. I have teleported to Daemonheim to complete my third challenge for today: Dungeoneering.

I am looking forward to putting my new zephyrium 2h sword to the test. *wicked grin*

Dear Diary,

Early this morning I returned from my 12th trip to Daemonheim. What a disappointing venture this turned out to be!

I made two attempts to clear Floor 14 on Complexity 6. Both times I was prevented from completing this floor by a puzzle.

The first time I encountered a room with some annoying seeker sentinels which could only be subdued. Failure to do so meant you were thrown back to the door you entered through. After I got past these things, the next room to the east had a monolith puzzle where you must synchronize the four lights. I have wasted time with this dumb puzzle before. IT WILL NOT SOLVE!! I teleported back to the home room and exited the dungeon after exploring just a few rooms.

The second attempt to finish this floor was even more frustrating.I managed to explore every room I could. One skilling door was blocked by a magical barrier which required Magic level 103 to dispel. In one room I battled a pair of level 67 skeletons. They did not attack me with magic as did the skeleton mage I fought on Floor 13. I beat the skeletons easily. Right in front of the boss room I was thwarted by ANOTHER impossible puzzle! There was a statue which seemed to be alive. Stepping on a pressure plate in front of the statue made it perform an emote. If you did not immediately do the same emote, you'd be hit HARD by magic. The problem was the room and statue were so dark, I could not tell which emotes were being done. I guessed correctly the first time, but got the next two wrong. The angered statue zapped me twice, leaving me with less than 900 lifepoints! I wouldn't have survived another blast, so I stepped off and teleported to the starting room.

Both times I found enough rusty coins to purchase four zephyrium ores, which I smelted and smithed into a zephyrium full helm, gauntlets, and boots. I had full zephyrium gear, but no boss monster to fight.

I completed my task with a challenge skip token and got 63 Dungeoneering.

Dear Diary,

This afternoon I availed myself of Solomon's Black Friday Sale and purchased two additional bank boosters for a total of 420 RuneCoins (a 50% discount). I have 31 RC left.

My bank storage has now increased to 570 slots, plus 500 slots for P2P items.

Dear Diary,

This afternoon I completed my three Daily Challenges in Slayer, Cooking, and Mining.

My Slayer task was to kill 29 goblins. The loot from the goblin kills included 5 bits of bread dough, which I brought to the Lumbridge Castle kitchen. As I successfully baked the 4th of 5 loaves of bread, I got 56 Cooking. I finished this task by cooking raw crayfish.

I teleported to Varrock and ran to the southwest mine. I gathered 27 mithril ores, which was 22 more than I needed to satisfy the Mining task. I also found one geode. It contained a spirit shard. I sold the ores on The Grand Exchange and banked the spirit shard.
