@ Me Eat Book & Joshyway: Thanks guys :D

Hi!

Well unfortunately I didn't get to go on my rock climbing trip today because Canada's rainy weather made sure to compromise that :|

So, I got to play more Runescape today, go on some walks and do some shopping.

When I logged on, I started out with my Hunter challenge from a few days ago. Jadinkos are actually pretty fast XP, but man are they boring. And since I had just spent a lifetime trying to achieve 99 Agility, I really wanted to do something less click-intensive/boring.

So after I finished up the challenge (94 Hunter achieved!), I decided to pick up one of my favourite pasttimes on Runescape: Glacors!

For those of you who don't know, I have a lot of experience at Glacors. I achieved levels 88-99 Magic there, and also obtained all the necessary charms for 99 Summoning. I've killed thousands of Glacors, and not once have I received a pair of boots.

Today was no different. I killed around fifty Glacors or so before I decided that I wanted to work on my Max Cape more, so I sold my meager drops and headed to the Snowy Hunter area to catch some butterflies. 2750 Glacors dry :(

I caught butterflies for a while until the daily tick rolled around, and I was given another Hunter challenge! Before I headed to Herblore Habitat, I made a quick stop at Duke Horacio, to claim my weekly Bonus XP. This time, I put it into Hunter!

I headed out to Jadinkos and finished up my challenge, exhausting my Bonus XP at the same time. Back to butterflies with me! I made my way back to the Snowy Hunter area and caught butterflies for a few hours while watching Up for the umpteenth time.

I participated in one Big Chinchompa game and continued with the butterflies until I logged off for the night. Divination is getting released soon... I can't wait! 360,000xp to go until level 95 Hunter!

Thanks for reading!

Good night! :)

Hi!

I logged on today at the Snowy Hunter area. It was actually only fifteen minutes until I could access my second Big Chinchompa game, so I ran around catching butterflies for a bit, until it was time to leave.

When it was, I teleported to the Tree Gnome Stronghold and used the portal to visit Nyriki's hole. Time to catch some moths! I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but every time I try and access the Big Chinchompa D&D, it disconnects me for the first few attempts. On my third attempt however, it will usually let me in.

After the game was done, I decided to go to Herblore Habitat for more XP. After catching Jadinkos for a while though, I logged off for a break. My brother, father and I were actually playing a game called Heroscape ... I'm not sure if any of you have ever heard of it before, but it's super fun!

The game lasted a long time, but I won in the end! Back on Runescape, I was given another Hunter daily challenge. This, comboed with another Big Chinchompa game, allowed me to achieve level 95 Hunter! Now I could catch Black Warlocks!

I had always wanted to try out Black Warlocks, so I headed out to the Feldip Hills area (closer to Oog'log) and tried my hand at the highest level butterfly. Well, they certainly gave a lot of XP... But man, they took forever to catch! One of them took me a solid minute! I really wanted to get Hunter over with as soon as possible, so I decided my best bet was to go back to Jadinkos.

I caught Jadinkos for an hour or so before I logged off for a few hours to see my girlfriend. Later, when I logged back on, I decided to kill a few Glacors, just for the fun of it. Of course, I didn't receive any boots... But I did get four Shards of Armadyl! I've got ninety-four shards stocked up since I last made a staff! 2786 Glacors dry :(

Divination will be released tomorrow, and I'll be there! Thanks for reading!

Good night! :)

Hi!

Today saw the release of the twenty-sixth skill in Runescape: Divination! I started my new job today, so I woke up extra early, just so I'd have a chance to try it out before I had to leave.

I started out where everyone else did, at the level one area near Lumbridge. It seemed pretty simple: sipon memories from the wisps/springs and then convert them to XP in the craters. I did this for a while with my Pale Energy.

Man, I could already tell this was going to be a slow skill. But the cool part about it was that because there was only one location you could train it, you were almost guaranteed to be with other players while you train. And the best part was, there was no competition for resources! Well... almost. It soon became apparent that competition was pretty high for the Chronicle Fragments. As soon as one spawned, it was claimed almost immediately. Luckily for me, I have pretty fast mouse clicking skills, so I was actually able to claim quite a few!

After a while, I moved on to the next Divination area, which was north of Falador. I could already see something forming that made me think of the old days of Runescape... Community. Each of the Divination training areas held their own little community, where everyone chatted to one another and congratulated each other on their levels.

I eventually managed to collect ten Chronicle Fragments and offered them at the Guthix Shrine. The XP wasn't amazing, but I could definitely tell that collecting these fragments was worthwhile.

It took quite a while, but I finally achieved level 20 Divination. After weaving my boon, I headed off to the next area, which was at the Digsite. Whoa, there were a lot more people here! I trained here for quite some time until I eventually had to log off and head to work.

When I came back, I started at Divination again. I only had two levels to go until the next area, and Chronicle Fragments played a vital role in my XP gains.

(Continued)

After a while, I achieved level 30 Divination! The next area was just south-east of Seer's Village. I stayed in this area for a long time. I collected countless Chronicle Fragments, which was pretty difficult considering the high competition for them.

I saw loads of fellow Mining Golds members there, and I had a good chat with many of them. I had actually been given a Hunter daily challenge, so I figured that I might as well complete it real quick to get a nice chunk of Hunter XP (comboed with the XP given my the Chronicle Fragments, I was getting quite a lot of XP!).

So, I returned to Herblore Habitat and caught sixty-three Jadinkos for my challenge. I turned them in for my reward and then returned to Divination!

I camped out at the Seer's Village area for a long time. I spent ages there, and it wasn't until right before I was going to log off that I achieved level 40 Divination. I still had about 100 Glowing Energy left, so I gave them to another player for free to aid in his XP.

Before I logged off for the night, I paid a quick visit to the next Divination area: South-east Relleka. There were quite a few people here as well, and because there were no trees, it was much easier to click the Chronicle Fragments.

It looks like 99 Divination is going to take quite a long time... But it's about time Runescape had another difficult 99! I'm going to grind away at it for a long time, and hopefully get it into the 90 region.

Thanks for reading!

Good night! :)

Hi!

Today was my first full shift of my new job. It's not terribly exciting; basically I set up shelves in retail stores. That's what you get as a new highschool graduate :P

Because of my new job, I didn't really get as much Runescape time as I would have liked... But, I guess that's the real world. When I did get to play Runescape, I went all-out on Divination. I really like its simplicity, and the small communities it builds from area to area is really quite neat.

The XP was painfully slow, but I didn't mind. I hadn't experienced a grind like this for years! 99 Divination sure is going to take a while... I camped out at the Relleka area for most of the day, slowly gaining XP and Chronicle Fragments. For some reason, I seemed to be exceptionally adept at collecting these orange particles. I clicked them as fast as I could, and even if I was further away than another player, I still managed to get it first. I earned the title "Sniper" amongst the other players, and some of them just gave up, leaving more for me!

For today's daily challenge, I was given the task of harvesting 100 Sparkling Memories! That worked out pretty well! The reward for completing it was pretty meager, but bonus XP is bonus XP.

After a long time, I finally achieved level 50 Divination! The next area was in Karamja, just north-east of Shilo Village. I figured that the best way of getting there was to use the Fairy Ring to the west, so that's how I've been accessing it.

I trained there for quite a while, until I hit level 52 Divination. I've got another full day of work tomorrow, so I logged off for the night. I think I've gained twice as much Hunter XP as I have Divination XP!

Thanks for reading!

Good night! :)

Hi!

I unfortunately don't have much time to write today, but I can say that I achieved level 57 Divination! Only a couple more levels to go until I can have a change of scenery :D

Good night! :)

Hi!

I got off of work early today, so that meant a bit more time to train Divination! I only had three levels until I could escape the jungles of Karamja, so I wasted no time in gaining XP.

The Chronicle Fragments were actually becoming a legitimate way to train Hunter! I was gaining around 950xp for each one, and because I captured so many, I was effectively training two skills at once. At this rate, I should have 99 Hunter before 99 Divination!

I gathered memories for quite some time, slowly gaining XP. I gained a couple levels, and eventually, I finally achieved level 60 Divination! I made my boon and before I left to be with my girlfriend for a while, I checked out the next area: Mobilising Armies.

It seemed like a pretty good spot; no trees, very close to a bank, and not as many people. Definitely an improvement!

Hours later, I trained for a bit longer at Mobilising Armies, slowly gaining Divination XP. When I logged off, I was just off of level 61 Divination!

Thanks for reading!

Good night! :)
