Hi!

Well folks, today was pretty much all Arctic Pines. I really want to just get 99 Woodcutting done and out of the way, so I stayed at Neitiznot for the most part and cut away at those five trees.

Things got better with my girlfriend. She really missed getting together, and unfortunately, today was her birthday. Even though we were supposed to be taking a week break, I still bought her some flowers and chocolates and left them at her door for her to find. She really appreciated it too; I got a lovely text from her later.

But the good real-life news didn't stop there. About a week ago, I applied for a job at a job fair, and like everyone else who was there, was interviewed. The interview was horrific. I completely froze on a couple questions, and barely remembered my reference's phone number. I knew it had been a lost cause when I left the building.

Today, I received a phone call from the manager, offering me the job. This was it, my first legitimate full-time job! I guess that means less Runescape-time, but I always found having a job gave me a feeling of purpose. Orientation starts on August 20th, and I'm kind of looking forward to it :D

Anyways, after I completed my Dungeoneering Daily Challenge today, I achieved level 104 Dungeoneering! And in Player-Owned Ports, I am one single Lacquer voyage away from having enough resources to craft my very own Death Lotus armour... And I sent that voyage out today.

That's really all I've got to report! I honestly stayed at Neitiznot the entire time, skilling away. When I logged off for the night, only 590,000xp separated me from the Woodcutting skillcape. Soon.

Thanks for reading!

Good night! :)

Hi!

I logged on today, and for the second day in a row, grinded out Woodcutting. I actually had a Sawmill Challenge from a long time ago, so I figured that today was a good day to get some fast Woodcutting XP! I made my way over to the Lumberyard and started a Large Job.

I remember hearing a long time ago that the Sawmill was a good method for Woodcutting training. I'm not really sure how people came up with that though... It felt much slower than Arctic Pines.

I cut away at planks until I had finally fulfilled both Large Jobs. Then, I headed to Burthorpe, collected my reward and returned to Neitiznot.

If you have been a reader for a long, long time, you might remember (I don't blame you if you don't) that my father, brother and I attempted to go out on a three-day hiking trip about a year ago, but were forced to turn back due to unfavourable weather conditions. Well, we're attempting it again!

This Monday, we're heading out into the woods to see one of Canada's great natural wonders. It's a three day hike, there and back, so I suppose I won't be writing on Monday or Tuesday... Maybe Wednesday. So today, we spent quite a lot of time gathering tents, backpacks and food supplies, not to mention mosquito repellant.

I continued chopping away at the Arctic Pines, slowly gaining Woodcutting XP. When the daily tick rolled around, I received another Sawmill Challenge! Perfect timing! I headed back to the Sawmill for the second time today, and once again, completed two Large Jobs and collected my 25,000xp reward afterwards.

Next up was Player-Owned Ports. Today was the day! With my final shipment of Lacquer in, I finally had enough supplies to make my very own set of Superior Death Lotus armour! I can finally throw my Royal D'hide out the window!

With that, I continued chopping logs at Neitiznot until I logged out. I had to log off a bit earlier than normal today... I had a mere 100,000xp left until 99 Woodcutting.

Good night! :)

Hi!

I logged on today, early in the morning, eager to get that last 100,000xp in Woodcutting. I had to leave near lunch time, so I wanted to try and get as much XP as I possibly could before then. Alas, I had to go before I could achieve the 99.

I actually went to a relative's house and watched the new Superman movie: Superman: The Man of Steel . It was really well done, and I highly recommend it! I've been a fan of the Superman franchise as long as I can remember, and this movie was no exception.

When I came back a few hours later, I grinded out the remaining Woodcutting XP until I was one log away from the 99! Then, I teleported to Falador, and chopped a tree, achieving my twenty-second 99 in Runescape. I spent a good few minutes trying to find Wilfred to buy the cape, and eventually, I actually had to look it up :P

Finally, I owned a Woodcutting Skillcape! I always used to see this cape back on my free-to-play days, and I always took it for a noob-cape... But man, this cape actually took a while to get, and I really liked to the look of it!

With three skills left until I could claim a Max Cape, I decided I would work on Agility for a bit. I had quite a few pendants in my bank, so I withdrew all of them and headed out to the Advanced Barbarian Agility Course. Zombie-mode initiated.

It was boring. I listened to music and browsed Reddit, but nothing could alleviate the intense boredom I experienced whilst clicking for hours. Eventually, Thorran called me on Skype, and I had my first ever video call. It was a pretty cool experience; I would definitely do it again. Skyping made Agility a bit less horrific, and when we finally ended the call, I logged off of Runescape.

Phew... 284,000xp in Agility today! I've only got about 140,000xp left until level 98, so I suppose I'll get that level and then do a bit of Hunter. Man, I left the two hardest skills until last :(

Good night! :)

Hi!

Well, today will be my last entry for a couple of days; I'll be going on that three-day hiking trip tomorrow, and won't be back until Wednesday!

Today, I logged on and immediately began running around the Barbarian Agility Course. Man, it was boring. Luckily, I had those pendants to boost up the speed, but even then it was incredibly tedious.

After two non-eventful hours of running, I finally achieved level 98 Agility. This was it... Only one level to go until the most painful skill in Runescape was completed forever!

With just one level to go, I headed to Burthorpe and began my monthly Troll Invasion. Thinking back to when this D&D first came out, I had to chuckle... I had tried the Hard Mode a long time ago, and had gotten thoroughly destroyed. But not, it was laughable! I killed the trolls in seconds, and it didn't take me long at all to complete all seven waves and collect my reward. Ah... 78,000xp in Agility!

I teleported back to the Barbarian Agility course and continued with the mind-numbing clicking. After a while, it became almost second nature. As soon as I finished a lap, I had already unconsciously clicked to begin another. Hours melded together, and eventually, the daily tick came about.

Today's challenge was a Hunter one. Eager for a break from Agility, I headed out to the Herblore Habitat and started catching Jadinkos****, this didn't seem so bad compared to Agility. Definitely faster.

It took a little while, but eventually I completed the challenge and checked in with the Quartermaster for my 47,000xp reward. Definitely worth it!

After a detour at Player-Owned Ports, I was back at the Agility Course, slowly gaining XP.

By brother had actually just started doing Barrows runs in an attempt to make money, so I decided I would join him! I've only ever done about three runs in my life, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to try them again.

I left the Agility Course with 968,000xp remaining until 99 Agility. It's a lot, but at least it's under a million!

I decided to go with a magic setup, along with a melee switch. This meant bringing my Sea Singer's Robes and Bandos.

The Barrows runs were actually much faster than I thought it would be. I was killing the brothers very quickly, and the melee switch proved to be very useful against Karil. My first two trips yielded nothing, and on my third trip, I ran into Akrisae.

This guy hit hard. Not only that, but he switched his protection prayers to match whatever you were doing! I was switching between magic and melee as fast as I could, slowly whittling his health down. I actually had to eat a couple times; this guy was tough!

On my third trip, I received my very first Barrows item ever: Verac's Helm. It wasn't worth much, (433,000gp), but I was just happy that I had gotten an item! My poor brother was hours and hours dry :P

I did a few more runs before logging off, and my very last chest contained Dharok's Platelegs! Luckily for my brother, he didn't end up itemless; he ended up getting Dharok's Helm.

There it was, my first legitimate attempt at Barrows runs, and I made about 1.2m. I'm pretty satisfied with that! I know it was pretty lucky to make 1.2m in thirty minutes, but I'm happy :)

Thanks for reading!

See you in a couple days! :)

Hi!

I'm back! That was one long hike! The first day consisted of boating across a lake for an hour, and then hiking with a 30lb backpack through the British Columbia mountains for six hours. I won't say exactly what attraction it was, but it was one of Canada's many natural beautiful hidden treasures. The second day was yet another six hour hike all the way back to the start, where we set up camp again and rested. It was a great trip, and the scenery was gorgeous! We ran into all sorts of funny characters along the way, and it'll make for a great story :)

Before I left though, I had done a few Barrows runs... It didn't take me long to loot a Guthan's Chainskirt, and literally two runs after that, I got another rare drop... I had just killed Karil, and as I exited the tomb, I noticed a message exclaiming that I had received a Spin Ticket. I quickly killed Torag and returned to Karil's tomb.

Sure enough, there was the Spin Ticket! But something else was there too... An Ectoplasmator. I think these things were from the Halloween 2012 event, but it had seemed so lame I hadn't even bothered trying it :P I think getting one as a drop is actually quite rare, so I was really happy when I picked it up!

Today, when I logged back on after packing all our supplies up and resting, I started doing some more Barrows. After a few dry runs, I decided to do my Agility challenge. Now I had actually meant to do all my daily challenges today (Hunter, Agility and Dungeoneering), but I decided that I would leave Hunter and Dungeoneering, forcing Agility to be my daily challenge every day. That bonus 25,000xp will be much appreciated!

I also made a pit stop at Duke Horacio to help out with the crisis. An extra 34,000xp for Agility!

I made my rounds at the Agility course, slowly completing the daily challenge.
