Yak To Basics update:

I completed Task #19 by mining 140 runite ores and 140 luminite in and around the Mining Guild under Falador.

For Task #20, I could craft 850 pieces of blue dragonhide armor or kill 1,012 monsters.

Yeah, the grind is getting grindier again, as expected. I guess I'll be killing monsters. Lots of monsters. Over a thousand monsters. O_o

After killing 20 scorpions and 1 king scorpion for a total of 21/1,012 monsters killed, I decided to use a skip token to auto-complete Task #20. Between the Spring Festival event and the April Fool's content coming tonight, I just don't have time for Yak Tracks right now.

For Task #21, I could craft/siphon 470 body runes or Skill and Kill 25 times.

I may do some runecrafting, but I expect Skilling and Killing will be how I'll complete this task. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

I just completed the 2021 April Fools content and received the K'ril Psssutsaroth pet.

This is my 53rd pet. My list of pets on page 11 has been updated. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

Yes, I finally achieved the virtual level of 120 Hunter. It was a goal that I set with my best friend nearly five years ago when we designed the outfit that I have inherited and set up our clan. The clan (which I only opened fully last year) still uses the hunter logos - one for each of us.

But there it is, another goal ticked off. Another promise to her complete.

Nice progress with the Yuck Track!

And and and you have a stone to dance around, too! Or pots to fill, things to craft. I like the new trees, and the ones around the Archaeology Guild are better than the ones released last year. As for the cosmetics, well, it's nice to collect them I guess.

(Also, the news post mentioned an emote would be available from the store, but I don't see it!)

I see you saw my thread! Enjoy your pet. I have always said balloons were evil and completely pointless. All that ocean plastic. Please keep him away from any and all bodies of water.

I've been training Fletching and Prayer mostly at the Spring Festival, but I did do a little cooking and crafting as well.

The Evoke Spring emote, right? Yeah, I read where that would be offered, but it hasn't appeared in the shop so far. Maybe it'll be added later. I have that emote already.

No problemo. Cabbage, my baby troll, watches over all my pets while they are in safe storage. He has been eyeing the new evil balloon pet with suspicion - or maybe hunger. It's tough to tell with trolls.

I completed Task #21 by Skilling and Killing 25 times, mostly through my dailies and through the April Fools and Spring Festival events. I didn't do any runecrafting.

I received the Dark Mage's Skull.

Apparently, the dark mage won't be needing it anymore. :P

For Task #22, I can bury 1,000 bones or kill 1,125 monsters.

Prayer is my lowest F2P skill, so I suppose I'll work on that task.

Oh, and I spent 5,000 Spring Tokens to buy a Yak Track skip token. This has replaced the one I used to auto-complete Task #20, so I once again have two skips left. It appears that players may only buy one skip token at the Spring Festival shop. :( Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

Spring Festival update:

Through participating in this event, mostly by dancing around the stone for Prayer XP and by carving idols for Fletching XP, so far I have earned 16,012 Spring Tokens.

Here's what I've bought at the shop so far:

Crux Eqal cosmetic outfit (8,000 Spring Tokens)
All of a Flutter title (500 Spring Tokens)
Small XP lamp (2,500 Spring Tokens)
Yak Track skip token (5,000 Spring Tokens)

I already owned the Butterfly outfit. Since we can only buy one Yak Track skip token from the shop, the only items left I might buy are XP lamps or maybe mystery boxes.

I used the small XP lamp on Ranged.

I currently have 12 Spring Tokens left in my currency pouch. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!
