Yak To Basics update:

I more than completed Task #12 by harpooning 71 swordfish and 87 tuna from the dock in Karamja for a total of 158/135 fish caught.

This task also completed today's new Daily Fishing Challenge. While I didn't gain a skill level, redeeming this challenge did get me 41,565 Fishing XP, which put me over the 119,000,000 mark in Total XP.

For Task #13, I can either mine 245 ores (coal or better) or Skill and Kill 20 times.

It looks like I'll be going to the mines under Falador. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

I more than completed Task #13 after mining 100 runite ores, 100 luminite, and 100 coal in and around the Mining Guild under Falador for a total of 300/245 ores mined.

For Task #14, I could craft/siphon 275 body runes or kill 675 monsters.

Late Sunday night I completed Task #14 after siphoning 275 body runes in the Runespan. While I was there, I also siphoned 82 air runes, to round up my Runespan points earned from 192 to 200 for this trip.

I actually nearly finished this task earlier in the evening, but decided to log out for a bit after I had siphoned 250/275 body runes (175 Runespan points). I had a feeling I should wait until after game reset (8pm my time) to finish this task - and I was absolutely right! When I logged back in after reset, I saw my brand new Daily Challenge was to siphon 25 runes in the Runespan. Perfect timing! How did I know? Siphoning 25 more body runes completed the Daily Challenge (which got me 33,547 Runecrafting XP) as well as the Yak Track task. I went on to siphon the air runes before teleporting to Lumbridge.

For Task #15, I can smelt 800 bars (steel or better) or Skill and Kill 20 times.

I am choosing the Skill and Kill option. Siphoning those air runes after I had finished Task #14 already advanced Task #15 by 1/20. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

I completed Task #15 by Skilling and Killing 20 times, mostly by killing scorpions, mining gems and gold ore, cutting gems, crafting gold amulets, alching those amulets, and fletching bolt tips in Al Kharid.

I received the Misthalin Longsword cosmetic overrides.

For Task #16, I can either craft 700 pieces of ranged armor (snakeskin or better) or catch 150 fish (salmon or better).

This task also completed another Daily Fishing Challenge, which I received after tonight's game reset. Redeeming this challenge got me another 41,565 Fishing XP.

For Task #17, I can either cook 800 foods (pike or better) or bury 900 bones.

I completed Task #17 by cooking 800 tuna in Al Kharid.

For Task #18, I can either earn 206,492 Dungeoneering XP or Skill and Kill 20 times.

I wonder which one of you will reach your second 99 first - and in which skill.

I completed Task #18 by Skilling and Killing 20 times, mostly by killing scorpions, mining gems and gold ore, cutting gems, crafting gold amulets, alching those amulets, and fletching bolt tips in Al Kharid. While killing the scorpions, I completed a Daily Combat Challenge. I used the XP lamp to gain 33,547 Ranged XP.

I received the Varrock Guard Shield cosmetic override.

For Task #19, I can either chop 180 yew logs or mine 280 luminite/runite ores.
