Well, I didn't have as much time as I would've liked to work on the Breaking The Storm event this weekend, and so I failed to complete the event before it ended. Out of the 2,994 boat materials I had left to turn in, I found only 1,231. Instead of turning them in, since I wouldn't have had enough anyway, I opted to convert 1,000 materials to mystery boxes. These gave me a total of 3 medium prismatic stars, a medium smoldering lamp, and 2 boxes of Dungeoneering tokens (1 small and 1 medium).

I wouldn't say the day was a total waste, however. Early Sunday morning I managed to get Crafting level 75! Early Sunday evening, shortly before the event ended, I reached magic level 85! During that final hour, I also used 5 melee combat training dummies to get my combat stats - Attack, Constitution, Defence, and Strength - closer to level 90! I need only 82,000 XP more to get there, except for Con. In that skill, I am 78,000 XP away from level 90!

I spent the final 10 minutes or so working on Smithing. Although I have over 400,000 XP still to get before I reach Smithing 96, I am roughly halfway there. Maybe I will reach that goal during DXP Weekend, coming up in just under three weeks. If I can find more protean bars in time for that, it should be possible!

After the event ended and the game reset, I completed a daily challenge in the RuneSpan. This got me to Runecrafting level 84!

So I couldn't claim the "Stormbreaker" title...but I did get three more skill levels, plus I made decent progress in five others. Not a bad trade-off. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

This evening, I completed a daily challenge, which was to make 39 meat pizzas. Turning in this challenge granted me 54,765 XP, which was more than enough to get me to Cooking level 88!

Inside the challenge mystery bag, I found 77 mahogany planks and 758 coins.

Now I have to raise my Fishing level from 87 to 88 as well - perhaps during 1.2XP Weekend. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

This evening, I kicked off 1.2XP Weekend by using pulse cores and 340 protean hides to get Crafting level 76!

I also did a little bit of Mining after maintaining the 10% boost from the pulse cores, followed by quite a bit of protean elder rune smithing. I still have a ways to go before leveling Mining, but gaining another Smithing level soon looks likely! Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

Well, that didn't take long at all! Late tonight, I did some more protean elder rune smithing. When combined with pulse cores and BXP, this grants amazing XP rates! I used 340 protean bars to reach Smithing level 96! I earned an additional 100k or so XP after gaining the level. I still have 500 protean bars I haven't used yet.

I also did some combat training. Soon, I should be gaining a level in Attack, Constitution, Defence, and Strength. This should also raise my Combat Level. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

Tonight, while "training" at the Summer Skill-Off in Lumbridge Crater, I reached Dungeoneering level 76!

I just wish this event was around back when I was at DG 72, looking to reach level 75! Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!
