Yes, and it appears I finished my DG training just in time to take part in the Breaking the Storm event! I am still amazed the first night of stage 2 I managed to get Smithing level 95!

Late last night, while working on stage 3 of the Breaking the Storm event, I reached Magic level 82! I also went over 10,000 boat materials, so I am more than halfway done with this event. I have only 4 rewards left to claim: at 12,000/14,000/17,000/20,000 - if I decide to go for the pet and the title. I probably will. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

Tonight I did a lot of skilling at the Breaking The Storm event. I spent some time smithing (phase 2), but the majority of my time was used at phase 3 to get Magic level 83!

I earned just over 2,000 boat materials tonight, which was enough to claim the next reward, which was the big event mystery box. Inside I found two prismatic medium stars, a spirit ruby, a small prismatic lamp, and a medium bubbling lamp. I had hoped for another phoenix lamp, like last time. Also, another boost brew would've been nice. I'll just have to settle for using the two I have before the event ends. I am NOT going to waste 45 RuneCoins to buy a third boost brew! No chance.

Only three rewards left to earn - the Varrock flag resting emote(14,000), the pet(17,000), and the title(20,000). If I can keep up the pace, or close to it, I should be able to claim them all before the event is over. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

^ Threes, I may have caught some of your laziness, as I did very little skilling on Sunday or Monday! I did do enough on Tuesday and on Wednesday morning to bring my total of boat materials handed in to 14,038. This unlocked event reward 8 of 10, the Varrock Flag Rest Animation. Only the pet and title yet to claim. To earn these, and to complete the event, I only need to hand in 5,962 more boat materials. I have 1006 on hand.

This evening, while doing more training at phase 3 of the event, I raised Magic to level 84!

My total level is now 1454, and I have over 60M XP! Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

Tonight I worked on Crafting, Magic, and Smithing at the Breaking The Storm event. While I did not gain any new levels, I did earn and turn in enough boat materials, a total of 17,006, to claim the 9th reward: the Mordaut Jr. pet. There's a nice little bit of dialog between you and the dragons which you unlock after you've claimed the pet.

I have to turn in 2994 more boat materials in order to complete this event, and to claim the 10th and final reward - the Stormbreaker title, at 20,000 boat materials. I have family events going on this Saturday and Sunday, including my own birthday on Saturday, so I may not have the time to finish the event before it ends. If I don't, no big deal. Titles don't mean much to me anyway. I use the "Of Gielinor" title in-game. The only other title that would've been cool to have is "Of Guthix". Ah well. I have 44 boat materials in my currency pouch right now - only 2950 more to find! Maybe I'll find them, maybe I won't. In any case, I've made some good level gains during this event!

Once I've posted this, I'll go back a couple of pages and update my list of pets to include Mordaut Jr. My total number of pets is now at 30! It's a good thing they all get along with one another! Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!
