Yak Track - Journey To Iaia update:

I completed Task #8 by Skilling and Killing 30 times. I finished this task after using 27 rune essence to craft 81 body runes at the Body Altar. This also completed a Daily Runecrafting Challenge, which I redeemed to reach Runecrafting level 94. :) I did not craft any protean dragonhides for this task.

I received three advanced pulse cores.

For Task #9, I can fish/mine (salmon/coal or better) 155 times or Skill and Kill 30 times.

I reckon another trip to the Mining Guild is in order. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

I more than completed Task #9 by mining 80 runite ores and 80 luminite in and around the Mining Guild. I mined 160/155 ores. I also found 28 geodes and completed a Daily Mining Challenge in the process.

I received two combat training dummies.

For Task #10, I can kill 922 monsters or Skill and Kill 30 times.

I'm sure I will kill some monsters as part of my Skilling and Killing for this task. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

This afternoon I completed Daily Challenges in Dungeoneering, Smithing, and Fletching. I used a challenge token to skip the Dungeoneering task. Then I made 300 rune arrowheads. Next, I chopped 6 yew logs west of Lumbridge Market. I carved these logs into unstrung yew shieldbows and added bowstrings to them.

Gaining the Dungeoneering XP put me over 184,000,000 in Total XP. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

I completed Task #10 by Skilling and Killing 30 times. I finished this task while fishing on Karamja. I caught 60 swordfish and 72 tuna. As I began catching the fifth inventory of fish, the task was completed. I also picked 26 bananas and banked these, along with the noted fish, after teleporting to Al Kharid. I killed 20 scorpions and 100 poison spiders to advance the Kill Monsters option 120/922.

I received Silun the Bird of Paradise pet. This is my 66th pet. My complete list of pets on page 11 has been updated.

For Task #11, I can earn 138,000 Fletching XP or Skill and Kill 40 times.

Skilling and Killing has become even more of a grind, but it's either that or carve up several hundred protean logs. Bah.. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!
