Making a log brings you luck!
I did 1.5k mith dragon kills (kept the bones to count) and spent countless hours at irons without a visage, but as soon I started logging steel dragon kills I got one after about 300 kills. Of course starting a log has nothing to do with it lol, but I'd like to think it made me luckier.
