I almost forgot, had a wyvern task just now and I tried polypore staff w/ protect range and safe spotting.
It actually worked pretty well.
The same tactic also worked pretty well at Waterfiends, except I don't bother praying or safespotting those. 7:46 speedrun for "Lurkers in the Woods"

First off, good luck on the drop and me personally i have bad luck but i figured id give you the stats of my visage hunt overall.
Combined 7or8k iron/steel mainly steel
Around 1k blacks couple hundred skellies no kbd and most of this hunt was pre frosts.
The drop was from my 350th mithril dragon on a slayer task and was pretty much one of those days i should of got a lottery ticket (same day got my pheonix eggling)
I mostly got my range magic and defence at attack killing them and i killed them when i was pretty low level.

But in my case i find i have horrid luck and i have seen someone get not one but 2 visages in a single trip.

All in all yea, thats my visage log summed up and how it went down ^_^

The key to getting a Visage is to stop -trying- to get one. While I was training Slayer, I got assigned a task of 50 or so Skeletal Wyverns, and was not expecting to get anything but bones, and that's when I got my first (and only) drop.
It also tastes better when you're not expecting it or hoping for it.

In a way I don't want to get one cause I think it would be hilarious to have like, 5k mith kills, 20k steels, 50k frosts, but 0 vissys. 7:46 speedrun for "Lurkers in the Woods"
