Day 37 - My Name Is A Friend (+ 1400 total)

Early game ironman slayer: it sucks. You don't have points to skip tasks (nor block them), you don't have the black mask boost, and you don't have the prayer sustain to efficiently do non-boss slayer tasks. Using ranged is also pretty slow and magic is either very slow or too expensive. A Friend found a solution to this however: karambwans. They heal almost as much as sharks, they are quick to fish and they can be cooked at even very low cooking levels. So even though you end up tanking lots of damage with melee, you can still heal it without wasting time.

I'm using the point boosting strategy: doing 9 tasks with Turael, and every 10th task at Konar. On first attempt though, there was a disaster: Konar assigned me black demons, which are absolute trash and difficult to kill at lower levels, and in the brimhaven dungeon no less, where they're at the very end of the dungeon. So I had to reset the streak and on second attempt, I got hellhounds at stronghold slayer dungeon, which was much more reasonable. :P

In other news:
-Quests completed: Underground Pass, Skippy and the Mogres, Rag and Bone Man II.

Day 38 - Architectural Alliance

Quest requirements required me to start training mining, so I thought to combine it with Lovakengj favor earning in Zeah, as well as then finishing off the rest of the favors. After a couple hours of mining volcanic sulphur, and helping the other houses with their tasks, I achieved 100% favor in all Kourend houses. Also obtained Xeric's talisman from lizardmen and the tier 5 Shayzien armor for lizardmen shamans/dragon warhammer grind in the future. :)

In other news:
-More completed quests: Lair of Tarn Razorlor, Rum Deal, Cabin Fever, The Great Brain Robbery, Enakhra's Lament and The Forsaken Tower.

Day 39 - Game of Thrones

Witchers don't usually wish to meddle in the politics of the royalty, but king Vargas of Miscellania had problems in his kingdom that needed solving, so I took up the regent's job to solve them. After negotiating peace and preventing a war between his kingdom and that of the Etceteria, I now have my own peasants who gather resources for me...

...or I would at least, were I not poor in wealth at the moment. In the future though, once I start getting more gp from slayer alchs, this'll be a great way to get more herbs and logs. :P

In other news:
-Completed quests today: Heroes' Quest, Throne of Miscellania and Royal Trouble.
-Managed to complete my first crystal key today, meaning I can get and cut my first dragonstone, so now the only obstacle remaining before ring of wealth is the magic level to enchant a dragonstone ring to it. I'm thinking of training from 60 to 65 magic and boosting with a mind bomb for the enchantment, but not really sure when I'm gonna train it.

Day 40 - Hopebringer

In Sanguinesti, vampyres had promised the human citizens freedom from blood tithes should they manage to complete the challenges in Theater of Blood, all the while spreading a false rumor that one human, Serafina, had already accomplished this feat. In reality however, Serafina had fallen in the Theater, and she was merely used to manipulate humans into suicide at the Theater.

While I was helping the Myreque to overcome their oppression, the vampyres sent an abomination of a monster to kill off the remaining Myreque members. The vampyre nobles thought they'd succeeded, but while one of them, Ranis Drakan, was making a speech about their would-be success, I stepped forward and slayed him, restoring hope back to the human citizens of Sanguinesti.

In other news:
-Quests completed today: Desert Treasure, Curse of the Empty Lord, The General's Shadow, A Taste of Hope, Legends' Quest, RfD: Sir Amik Varze and Fairytale II - Cure a Queen.

Day 41 - Barrows Gloves

At long last, after countless hours of questing (as well as fishing for karambwans to train cooking with), Recipe for Disaster is completed and I now have the barrows gloves, best-in-slot ranged gloves and excellent gloves for melee and magic too for the time being! :)

Magic is now the limiting skill for me to continue questing, so I'm going to train it soon and also get the ring of wealth done at the same time. Overall there are very few quests left before I only have the grandmaster quests remaining, at which point it'll likely be a while still before I can get to do them for their high requirements.

In other news:
-Completed quests: RfD: Awowogei, RfD: Final Battle, Regicide, Roving Elves, Mourning's End Part I and What Lies Below.
