Please consider uploading an 32bit ARMv7 version to the playstore, as it will help a lot of people get playing. 4GB of RAM should be more than enough for runescape.

Edit: For those wanting to verify, there's an app called 'Droid Hardware Info', if you download it you can check your CPU architecture and see if it's ARMv7 which they aren't currently supporting.

There is a 32 bit version on the play store, it is in a separate APK that is served only to 32 bit devices

So I’m an iOS user, but I busted out my old android tablet (Samsung galaxy tab S 10.5 SM-T800) that I bought years ago for stupid situations exactly like this where something is available for Android and not iOS.
And of course it says “device is not compatible”, even though it meets the required specs they have listed on the website. (running Android 6.0.1 officially and there are unofficial ways to get Android 7 installed too if I had to.)
I’m glad they haven’t given us a list of compatible devices, or I might have been tempted to buy a newer android tablet since it’s been awhile since I upgraded my ”emergency android device for when iOS isn’t supported" tablet.

I downloaded the client back when the beta was first opened and I have been using it since that time, but now all of a sudden I cannot update the client on my phone anymore because my device is not compatible...?!
I have a Samsung S6 and I won't be changing my phone just to be able to play RS. :P

"Perhaps try loading the newest one on your device from apkmirror to see if it installs, if so you'll probably just have to wait until they add support back on on the store?"

It does, fwiw. I am expressly not encouraging anyone to actually use it.

So confused... I’m an iOS user waiting since what, Dec 18. So I bought a Tab A running Android 9- incompatible. Dug out my son’s Galaxy 3- incompatible. Updated the galaxy 3 and still incompatible. So does runescape work with anything and is there a way to download a different software version to run it on various devices?

This hardly makes sense to me on Oneplus 3 with Android 9 considering I could download the apk that Oneplus 6 would download and it works pretty much flawlessly based on my first impressions.

The compatibility seems completely arbitrary and not really having major issues.

Especially as my old Huawei P Smart 2018 which is slower and worse (though newer) phone is "compatible".
