no. you are definitely right about that. why would i be satisfied doing the same thing over and over again with no sense of progression? why would anybody? do you actually expect everybody to be satisfied with permanant stagnation and zero progression in this MMORPG?

As you said, you kill the bosses, once mastered you are bored. NOT everyone has the co ordination to boss (& never will), you do understand that right?

The comp rework ensured that players with severe mental deficiencies can now have a completionist cape so i am not sure why you think this is a valid critisism of the idea that more than 2% of updates should be high level pvm. if you dont like high level pvm you dont have to play it. you dont even have to buy a leech from me to keep your comp cape so what are you getting at here?

as for gp, there is tons that can be done WITHOUT bossing and can be fun


no. no there actually isnt. non pvm money makers tend to cap out at about 6m/hr where high enrage telos claims are about 50m per hour. what are your 50m/hr skilling methods? asking for a friend.

So where again were those bosses when Runescape started? Slayer is wonderful PVM. Slayer provides plenty of variety for PVM and you can make gp as well have fun


LOL slayer isnt pvm, man, it's pve. also i have 2.1k slayer tasks done, but thanks. the king black dragon was added 17 years ago, so pvm has been a thing in runescape for 17/18 years. the landscape of mmorpgs was pretty different back then, but they still had a boss also, greater demons were pretty challenging for a monster back then, you could consider them like a mini slayer boss.

No one said drops are not fun, what we are saying is: drops don't have to come from a complicated bosses (or NEW BOSSES)

how am i forcing you to play content? have i forced you to do an AOD kill by posting this on the forums? can you please explain the mechanism by which me asking for a boss that i and my friends and my peers all want forces you to play the content?

You and your elite friends are the reason people like me are not enjoying AOD/Solak. If we would be allow to do casual kills, we might enjoy the content.


why dont you and Luckyluke91 go duo solak? it seems like you and him are very similar in skill level and have a very similar mind set when it comes to how you approach content. they did add a low dpm way to beat solak so it is possible for you to get the kill.

the only roadblock in your way of enjoying high level pvm is you and what you are willing to do. nobody wants a low dpm leech on their high dpm team if everyone else is being a cohesive member of the high dpm unit. but nobody is stopping you from building a low dpm casual team except you.

Contradicting your own words. So you (all) want ppl to get good at bossing, learn the mechanics and love bossing, but refuse to teach the community how to do it BECAUSE OF YOUR GREED AND TIME SPEND


AHHHHH my brain is melting. help me! i maxed my training points in 2017. i have got hundreds upon hundreds of people their first boss kcs. my problem with luckyluke is his horrible attitude towards high level pvm. i dont care about someone's dpm as much as i care about their willingness to learn, which both of you seem to actively oppose and scorn. in many ways both of you have far more of a toxic, elitist attitude than any pvmer does. but it is what it is. H̸̛͘͠Į̸̛͜͜

you're purposely misinterpreting what i said. also i am actually referring to a few specific individuals with literal brain damage who couldn't kill high level bosses that i spoke to in the comp rework thread. but maybe mentally handicapped might have been a better term? but you would have said the same thing either way, so whatever. H̸̛͘͠Į̸̛͜͜

I'd like to highlight this post, particularly in the leadup to Runefest as Jagex partners with Special Effect for One Special Day.


The stigma, exclusion, persistent dismissal that millions of people around the world face every day for conditions (both mental and physical) that they have no say in, and can never escape - never - It's really disappointing to see a member of the community flippantly and derogatorily throw around a term that covers so many serious conditions and apply it to people that can't play a computer game to their level.

I hope in future you consider who might read your words and how your level of ignorance, dismissiveness and lack of empathy might make them feel about the world around them.

It makes me want to say to Jagex that perhaps their message isn't getting through, but that's probably not fair as you are an isolated - very isolated it sounds like - case.

I anticipate you will twist the sentiment of your words if you are afraid to acknowledge that you can improve how you speak - HOW YOU THINK - about differently abled people.

That is not good enough, you can do better - expect more from yourself.

Not gonna lie, but the comp cape rework was just her FOR PVM'ers who were to lazy to comp, but still wanted BIS. So they got Kiln cape now.

I have 50+ kc on every boss (yes, including Solak) and a trim comp cape (yes, including castle wars). So I did way more content than you. You have tunnel vision on PVM, broaden your sight and help people with lower gem damages to do the high-end pvm.

I would actually enjoy it if not every damn team I am in would say: where is your flanking switch? It's just elitism optima forma.

oh, give it a rest, you snowflake. stop feigning outrage. i find it really hard to believe that your response is genuine, it seems a lot more like narcissistic, self-aggrandizing, virtue signalling. mostly because you ignored the entire context of the conversation in lieu of virtue signalling and brow beating. ill be sure to add a trigger warning next time i acknowledge the existence of the mentally handicapped and the struggles they dealt with trying to complete high level pvm.

well, they have the max cape which now has the same stats as comp and is an all style cape. but that aside, the practical effect of the comp rework was that hundreds upon hundreds of people that couldn't complete solak kills got the comp cape handed to them while every pvmer i see and know of still uses their comp cape.

that is a very questionable statement my man, it sounds like you have 3500 games of castle wars and the half the champions challenge on me and that i have all the pvm stuff on you.

i know that my membership streak above my name would suggest that my account is fairly new, but i actually made my account in 2004.
