just wondering why dont we revert the ambassador hard cap on dps so it will encourage players (who are even average) to get good dps while still rewarding them for their efforts

It's probably more around 10-20%. So far 5 people have commented about the disappointment at the removal of fixed screen. Considering a sample population of the people who have posted so far in this thread, its more than 1%.

from what I understand about forums is not everyone uses them

what we see here is a select vocal few, not the vast majority of players. most wont even know what the rsof even is, so ofcourse, they wont post

not only that but those who are not upset about this, also wont post, whereas those, such as yourself, voice your distress

that doesn't make their percentages and numbers fake news.

This problem can be somewhat mitigated by resizing the Game View under Options/Edit Layout Mode/Advanced Options , but the overall layout you can set up there is likely to be broken when you resize the main window.

Well cheers noobs removing fixed screen option and not even bothering to mention it people do use it btw why remove there no logical reason cheers now have to get used to something other than what ive been using for 15 years some of us don't like pointless change

Well as for me - I always play on full screen, or at least resizeable client if I need something else next to RS client on my screen at the time - because I hate being cramped in the tiny window of fixed client.

But I agree that there should be choice for players who like things differently or have older computers.

While technology keeps moving forward and 4:3 ratio is outdated, why don't make a fixed mode with 16:9 ratio?

And for players who says that resizeable is unplayable because character is positioned above action bar and you loose half you screen - on RS3 interface you can change game view in settings to reposition you character and make very legacy-like interface if that's what the buzz is about.

I am a legacy only player an it buggs me they don't even mention it in there patch

My sympathy to those affected by the removal mode of fixed mode but don't expect much from the developers or most of the playerbase. For such an ancient game it's remarkable how elitist it seems to be about those who prefer older, minimalist settings.

The next target will probably be the Java client. Already seen a bunch of people demanding its removal. Only 10% or whatever of us use it so who cares, right?

Yea I've been playing with it for a while to try find something suitable, but those options aren't available in Legacy Game mode.
