On a follow up, Based on the number of people responding here, "1%" sounds a bit like Fake news. Fake News to only justify taking out Fix Screen mode. Imo, not very nice.

It's probably more around 10-20%. So far 5 people have commented about the disappointment at the removal of fixed screen. Considering a sample population of the people who have posted so far in this thread, its more than 1%.

Unfortunately, I do not use reddit for runescape information because I thought this website was called "official runescape website" for a reason. I guess I have to go on a new platform (That is not runescape) just to get my runescape news. I guess I'm also the only 1% that doesn't use reddit for runescape information. They might as well just disable these threads since so called "reddit" has everything we need to know.

When using the Java client the skybox still rotates rapidly at the Runespan and clan citadel. Which is causing dizziness for me. This has been broken for 6 weeks in a row now. When can you finally be bothered to fix this issue?

Good day

I almost never post my views on forums, but just wanted my voice heard with this last patch note.

Logged in to be very disappointed of the removal of fixed screen, I had always enjoyed that graphics mode as was simple and easy for how I play the game. I find with a reduced window full size just bombards the screen with too much clutter and its hard to focus on the game itself, my character ends up centred just above the ability bar and everything else just feels like its in the way and I'm missing something that's hidden behind it like a seren spirit for example.

Even if it was just 1% of players that used it, 1% of such a large pool of players for such a popular game is still a lot of players that enjoy using it as they find it difficult using a more complicated layout. What is the harm in leaving it available for the few that need it.

If you could please reconsider and return this game mode, I and many other loyal players that love this game will be very grateful.

I just resize my client manually when needed, thats it

The removal of 'Fixed' screen was a bad move, it's not as if it's causing any problems in the game, I can see I'm not the only one who has an issue with this either, so I don't know how it came to being only "1%" :D is it possible for 'Fixed' screen to come back?

I did try to resize my client manually, still doesn't help my original issue. I want Jagex to release the real numbers of their so called "1%" players and provide real source. At this point, we are just taking their words with a grain of salt. Also doesn't count, say, when theres 200 million accounts made, but only 80k active players and hypothetically theres 8k players using fixed screen. That kind of math is wrong, they should release real math of average players active daily and how many of those uses fixed screen. right now, we're just taking their "1%" of players using fix screen with a grain of salt. It would be politically correct considering their 200million accounts, but very deceptive if so.

By the way, There was an announcement on forum on the 1st of March, which only gave us 2-3 days to prepared our mind for the massacre of fix screen mode. That wasn't enough time.
