got hacked A few months ago with the authenticator and bank pin already in motion so i decided to quite. Out of curiosity went back on it, played for a week then boom bank pin will be disabled in 3 days 😭😭😭 the ****** still won’t give up cmonnn

If the hijacker got through your Bank PIN in the first hijack but has not got through the PIN in this latest hijack, it indicates that your two hijacks are not connected.

This latest hijack:
I suspect your email is insecure. Did you find your Authenticator had been disabled?
Check the logins to your email and change its password.
Work through the Keeping your email secure support page.

Your first hijack:
It sounds like you may have been phished or deceived into allowing the hijacker direct access to your computer and ip address.
You probably got done via a fake Twitch stream or Youtube video or Facebook page.

I recommend you secure your email and set up Authenticator again (if you didn't have it set).
It is possible to play Runescape without being hijacked.
Be wary of unofficial Runescape content on social media - never, NEVER click on links in the comments.

My situation is very similar to these listed here, but with a unique twist. Prior to October of 2019, the last time I played OSRS was back in November of 2018. In October 2019 I tried to log in on mobile to discover my account was permanently banned for Macroing (an offense I did not commit). After appealing my ban my account was unbanned and I was told it was banned due to suspicious activity. I assumed Jagex flagged the account as I was using a VPN to play back in November 2018 as I was remotely connected to a work PC. Well, when I got my account back there was an authenticator on it which I never setup. I reset the authenticator assuming it was a mobile glitch and continued to play on mobile. Well, about 4 days later I tried logging back in and boom, authenticator back on the account. I once again reset the authenticator to find my entire account hacked - tabs broken down, all items sold and for whatever reason 52 ensouled heads were the only thing still sitting in the GE sold. So now I have NOTHING on my pure and I guess prior to Jagex flagging the account I had also been hacked - not sure about that one. Discouraged to get back in to the game at this point, unfortunate that Jagex doesn't protect its mobile users passwords.

This thread was initially created in November 2018 by Vyelora on account issues resulting from the use of OSRS Mobile. However it appears that there are far too many players jumping into this thread saying they "have the same issue".

We cannot attend to everyone at once and tailor advice to every individual in this thread, as one's scenario can be very different from another. I advise all to make a new thread in the Community Led Account Help forum, where you will have your place to resolve your problems.
