Hacked because of rs mobile? Thread is locked

My account was recently hacked for 15m. I logged in once on my main on the mobile app an that was just to transfer 100k to my new Mobile account. transferred everything smoothly an left my account with 15m on it, signed off the mobile app on IOS after the transaction. This morning I go back to my main account with the 15m an it was gone.. sold. I have security questions an everything set to secure. "I DID NOT SHARE OR CLICK ON A AD". surprisingly they didn't gut the account, they took what they could quickly an left my account with 2m. :/ Witch I Do Not Understand.

Please Check IOS & Android for leaked passwords.

Do you really think everyone who got hacked was because of this and not because there is something wrong with the client? Even if some of us didn't have those extra security steps we shouldn't be exposed. Clearly even people with every different security authentication method and passwords on bank, etc, got hacked too!

I know I won't get my items back but at least look into it... It would seem like you guys think the client is flawless.

I would like to take a moment to thank Jagex for not doing anything against hackers/scammers. I was just about to buy membership again but will just stop playing now.

Short story:
I started playing again because of OSRS on mobile. I created a new account on my mobile with my e-mail and started playing.
A friend of mine gave me some moneys in-game and I started WC like crazy (AFK WC @ work)
Today I see I got hacked and lost all the moneys + all my precious logs.
I did not login into any other site but the runescape.*** site and did not use any bots or any other site whatsoever and I mostly played on mobile.
I'm wondering where they got my runescape email and password and why they would even want to hack a level 13 account with 1 day ingame time spent.

So thanks for not doing anything against hackers. I will not bother playing this game nor paying for this game ever again. Thank you.

Runescape has always been a prime target for hijackers who profit from stolen accounts and in-game items/gp.
The release of RS mobile has opened up a whole new set of victims for these cheating thieves.
Always be wary when viewing any Runescape related stuff that is not actually on THIS website.
