It's pretty much flawless except:
When banking, withdrawing/depositing makes the game freeze for a few frames, it's noticeable. Could be something like 80-150ms.

The same thing also happens when training herblore. Let it be making unfinished potions or adding a secondary, the game will freeze for very few frames between each action. You can see everything else around stuttering. Players, npcs, etc., they seem like the get frozen and unfrozen really quickly.

When teleporting, even if it's in the same region and the map is already loaded (e.g. from the teleporting from the Varrock fountain to the Grand Exchange), the game stutters a lot. It may freeze for 5-7 seconds. Even more time if it's to another section of the game where the map is not loaded.


This is exactly what I tried to describe in my ealier post, Morolocks and KQs post (Page 12) just earlier before mine in this thread describe the problem exactly. The app is flawless except that it has started to stutter alot when skilling, using bank, or even just running. What he describes is basically exactly my problem. However I use a different device,

This issue appears to be fixed for me on my Galaxy S7. It's responsive like on pc now.

There is very little lag. Had it hang 2-3 times in 8 hours of gameplay. Main issue is it overheats my device significantly. So much so that a little popup came along and told me it was going to close the app because it was overheating too much.

How is the app performing for you?:The app works well so far, while running the app, the iPhone gets very hot on the back. There are no other apps running, only Old School app is running and creating the phone to get very hot. It is not connected to a power source.

How is the app performing for you?: the game itself runs fine, however the phone is heating up rather quickly and the battery is draining quickly as well.

Battery drains faster than it can charge (during full FPS game play)

A few crashes, one that completely shut off my phone

Moving to a different app during the welcome screen after logging in, I was unable to "tap here" to play

Some NPC menus could do with an menu entry swap, (bankers in G.E, Leprechaun exchange)

Overall a positive experience, once you get underway with some AFK and turn down the FPS (15 is choppy but playable, worth it for the potential battery save)

The performance overall is not good but as good as expected. Every action has 1-3 tick delay.
The main problem is how fast the app drains battery and heats up the phone. Losing about 50% battery in one hour of constant playing and during the session the phone was extremely hot.

How is the app performing for you? So I will get random game freezes after an action(clicking the world map, taping the skills tab etc) also as many other have said the game heats up the phone very fast and can get very hot. I don't see the current version being able to be played for extended periods of time without damning some part of the phone/battery etc. other then that the taps are accurate, interface is easy to use nothing out of the ordinary so far!

How is the app performing for you?: The app is performing well straight after the download without any changes to settings. Although, the phone heats up quite quickly and the battery drains very fast. I used 44% of my battery life in 43 minutes of game play, unconnected to power, on WiFi connection. I am hoping to see improvements to battery consumption when the final product is released, because in its current state I would not be able to legitimately play mobile like I was hoping. Otherwise, I am really impressed with the application so far and I will continue to monitor and provide feedback when possible!
