I found a solution that worked for me. I use an Android Phone and Google Chrome as my browser. When I tap on sign in with RuneScape Account and the browser overlay appears asking for the account credentials, there were three vertical dots in the top right of the screen. Tapping those dots and selecting the option "Open in Chrome" then opened the sign in window in the Chrome app. Signing in there worked perfectly fine as opposed to he browser overlay in the OSRS app. Hope this works for others having the same issue. Cheers.

Edit** I guess this solution was posted in the page before and I didn't see it lol. Oh well. :)

holy f, finally that worked, jesus, thank **** someone knows how to solve this, that 3 dots in the corner thing worked.... someone really should make a youtube vid about how to solve this problem....cause that was simple fix.

I had the same problem on my Google Pixel 4a with both Chrome and Firefox. However, the suggestion to click on the 3 dots and then open chrome/firefox in another browser worked for me. This seems like the only method to log in with different accounts at this time since this thread is a year old and people are still encountering this issue.

Guys this will sound stupid as hell but I've been able to replicate the infinite log in cycle and got a consistent fix.

Turn on "auto rotate" and use the browser log in on landscape, same as the app.

It worked for me, hope this might help a few of you.

I have no idea why this works - Jagex, hope this helps you find/fix the issue.

I am having a similar issue. Only when I log in via Google, I am redirected to a new account. The same is happening on the runescape log in. A third party email as suggested in the support guide did nothing to help either. I have a 4 year account I cannot access.

Hi, it sounds like you might have accidentally selected to create a new account. In order to regain access to your 4 year old account, please do the following:
1. Log into the brand new account and finish tutorial
2. Add a login email and password to the brand new account
3. Unlink Google from the brand new account

How to reuse your existing email address as login email for the brand new account

I have still this problem on huawei p20 lite, but when i press continue with runescape account then nothing happening just loading and again give me the choose google or osrs account to log in. Video https://www.youtube.***/watch?v=HOB28q4b7FM
