Has anyone come up with a resolution to this issue? As of today I am getting the same redirection issues as the above posts have layed out. I'm stuck in a loop.
I'm having this exact issue. Tried emptying cache, reinstall etc...the app still redirects to some form of the website on which logging in does nothing lol. What is going on??

Please make sure your operating system is up to date.
Do not use auto-fill - try clearing all characters in the fields, and press clear a few more times in case there are any spaces

I am having the same issue. Able to log in on mobile on on my phone, but not on tablet. Tablet updated, app deleted and re installed. Cache and date cleared. Im getting the same issue. I click continue with rs account, im redirected to the website. I log in and am redirected to the app with the same 2 options, continue with Google or rs account. I attempted opening the rs website in a different browser too
Ive tried everything posted here,and I still have this issue. REALLY annoying. Please, find a solution for this. I even payed for a membership and I can't even login
Downloading the Samsung Internet browser on the app store, then setting it as my default browser fixed the issue for me. No more endless loops and I can log in mobile.
For anyone finding this, the problem lies in the webbrowser that gets opened to log in, it doesn't redirect the right way after logging in.
The solution lies in opening another browser to log in: after tapping "continue with runescape account" tap the three dot menu button in the top right corner and choose "open in chrome" or any other browser. The log in page will reload and now you should be able to log in.
