I have this problem on my amazon tablet now as well, trying to log in it redirects me to jagex website where I type in my username and password and it says it's incorrect. No I didn't make same mistake 10 times following every single letter and retyping it again. I can login on pc without a problem, same as my iphone. I did reinstall the app, I did clear the cache and data, I did all other things suggested.
Tablet: Amazon Fire HD10
Make sure that you erase the login completely - it's possible you've still got stray spaces in the username field, even after erasing the visible letters.

I am experiencing a similar problem, except that when I select "Continue with Runescape account," the login screen displays "connecting to jagex" for a moment before the entire application terminates and I'm left with a notification from my phone telling me that osrs mobile has stopped.
When I tried selecting the "continue with google" option instead, I was able to login without the app crashing but not into my account that the login email I supplied belongs to; instead, I was logged into a brand new account on tutorial island.
I'd really appreciate some sort of fix or advice on what to do, particularly to stop the crashes and whatever else is preventing me from logging in using my Jagex credentials. I've tried clearing my cache/reinstalling the app/etc. to no avail so not sure where to go from here.
I'm glad it seems others have had this problem,
I'm however not glad to see people were having this same issue months ago and I'm still currently having it as well, hopefully this is fixed sooner than later.
I see slight variations in what seems to happen for different people reading through but for me it just keeps opening the cookies policy in a browser when I try to log in with account information and then brings me right back to selecting my type of log in.

Please try Mod Zig's advice. Are you able to double check that you're receiving the exact same error, and not a different login error? Thanks

None of those solutions work, when i click on "connect with runescape account" app redirects me to jagex cookies policy page, and i have no way to log in. I have tried 4 different browsers, and none of them works.
