This is my very first day to ever play RuneScape and out of a literal 24 hour playtime (yeah this games already got me hooked!!) I've "only" been able to play about 18 1/2 hours out of the 24 because it won't connect to the servers...
It works fine most of the time but then out of nowhere it just won't connect. 😞
My service has not changed from when it was running smoothly so I know it's not on my end.
Also, I've deleted the app, redownloaded it, restart my phone, turned airplane mode on and off several times as well as come here and manually pick a server (which surprisingly worked once) but now it refuses to connect at all...
For my first day on RuneScape I've got to say I already love the experience!
Please fix this issue so we can continue to enjoy the game.
(I was already considering becoming a member but I will not until the problem with the servers is resolved)
On your web browser go to Old School RuneScape‘s website. Look for a UK world and tap on it. Should open your game and then you can join any server. This method has worked for me 100%. Hope this helps. Jagex really needs to get it together on this one. Not sure why joining a UK world works but it does. If you try to join any other world it will not work you’ll get the countdown and it’ll say failed to connect to servers. It must be a UK world.
That fix does not work at all. I have tried every single (free2play) world and still get the "failed to contact server retrying" repeatedly. I have seen many supposed fixes but the problem is none of the "work arounds" actually work.
Haven’t been able to connect re downloaded the app, selected different worlds tried everything could really use some help from a mod, or something haven’t been able to play mobile for a few days now, the app loaded once yesterday but won*t allow me to connect for some reason or get passed the *failed to contact server...” message, any advice would be nice, seems like an issue since the 6th.
Its been 3 days for me. Of not being able to log on. Any tricks of loging in to eur server or aus server has not worked. Have not had a chance to get to a conputer to play. Thinking about ask8ng for a refund at this point since no one has made a statement about this at all. Mobile is my main way of playing this game aswell******;
Ive tried this work around and it doesnt work for me. Tried all different worlds. Uninstalled amd reinstalled. Done all the different network changes, nothing. It was working for a short time a few hours ago. It has been inconsistent these past 3 says. Its a shame. this game is one of my favorites! Even better to be able to play on phone and pc. Sometimes id rather be reclining while I get my twisted league fix... *\0/*

I have been playing for a mountg or 2 and got membership for a week or 2 and lately i havent been able to play for the whole day or more and i dont what to run out of my membership because of it and the only way i can play this game is by using my moble phone
The only way i can play osrs is on my phone and ever since i got osrs i have been having issues with connecting to the game and it says check your internet connection and my internet is good and i got a month membership and i dont what to waste it while waiting
