I play mobile on an iPhone 10 and an iPad Air 2.

I have reinstalled the app, cleared the data for the app, rebooted both devices, reset my entire network at home, and it still doesn’t work.

This leads me to believe it is definitely the app not my devices/network. I’m confident Jagex will get it up and running ASAP!

No gaming service is perfect. It’s incredible Jagex does as good as they do with how often iOS and windows etc update things. Good luck with the fix!

Iv been playing rs for years since 2000, and yet there game couldnt be played for 3 days bcuz jagex servers were down for 3 days and yet they never gave our 3 days of membership credit back. If this is how you guys treat your customers/ players im done with this company and will move on to a different game.

Need interface or confirmation for graceful recolors as it's physically impossible to recolor grace on some phones without choosing the wrong city (literal millimeter difference to insta spend marks with no confirmation). And the confirmation is at the START of the conversion for some reason, just very quickly lost hours of play this way

Was luckily selected to the beta before it went up on the appstore, I probably should have posted my thoughts back then, but it's never too late right? :) Did not really think about the app again before having to travel. As same as last time I was surprised by how smooth the game felt on phone.

Though afk skilling is great on the app, everything else was much harder. I dont know if the size of your phone does anything to the scaling or not, but doing generally anything other than afking was a great task. I feel this way because everything except the game window itself is super small, and there is no way to scale up the UI or use fixed mode. Resizeable was never really anything I got into on the computer version, and I know alot of people feel the same way, so I'm surprised to see you are forced to use it on mobile.

Now normally I would share my computer screen to my phone, and the game would be 1:1 to the computer version, and this works great, but while traveling that might not be an option. And in my honest opinion, using the computer version on my phone is much easier and better than the redesign you did for the mobile only version. I would believe more people are inclined to use the mobile version if there was a way to change the UI or even use fixed mode.
Ready for IOS

I am disappointed. I love playing mobile and I love to pk on mobile. However, other players have an advantage over me. Players are able to see my HP and therefore can calculate when to eat and what weapons to use. I asked some of these players what their advantage was or how they could “know” and they informed me they use a software called “runelite” they then further explained that this software is encouraged by Jagex and allowed! How is this fair for mobile players?

PvP is the reason I play this game and sadly I can*t trust that others aren’t cheating. Why should I even waste my time...?

With all of the players that OSRS has, im not sure why im only just now getting alerts for runescape asking me to come back and play more on mobile even though im playing on PC... Its like someone is asking me for a tip which is normally considered rude. Your game is successful, theres absolutely no need to add yet another absolutely useless notification for people.

Sadly just out of principle, this makes me want to start buying bonds again with GP instead of paying for membership.

First off, love the game.

Device: Samsung Galaxy S7 (no edge)
Play Time: i got an achievement cape mobile only.. a lot
Location: Eastern Canada
Cellular: LTE
OS: Android

I have been meaning to post for a while, and the release of the Nightmare of Ashihama gave me a great reason to. Lag prevents me, and i imagine the majority of OSRS Mobile users, from being able to join in the fun :( . Could you add a (togglable?) feature for mobile users to hide other players while in the nightmare? Perhaps it could exclude friends? Just an idea. It works well in teams of up to 10 as it is, more than that and you get hit by a few too many floor circles of death (which i swear i walked away from in time).

Great job overall, on the update and the state of the game in general. As someone who is new to osrs, and having eperienced the majority of the pvm content in the game on Mobile exclusively, this game has a lot of potential to expand to more of the mobile gaming market. If the mobile interface is changed a bit to help improve click accuracy, I think many more people would find what I've found in the challenge of PvM on Mobile. Increasing the size of the click boxes for game tabs and inventory items by 10% i think would help a lot. Or giving control of the size to the player via the options menu if that is possible.

Another handicap Mobile PvM have is being unable to see the chat box without also having a clickbox accross your screen (which opens your keyboard and generally gets you in trouble). Making that clickbox small, and way over on the left side of the screen would be great.

Last one I would add: having permanent, separate buttons for tap-to-drop and one-touch modes would be nice.

Keep up the good work guys!

So i just checked my post and I think I should elaborate on what I meant by "click accuracy".

Switching between game tabs (inventory, prayer, stats) is a significant portion of the time it takes to perform an action while fighting a boss. For example, when switching prayer then switching weapon around half of the time your actions take is focusing a click on a game tab. While this happens it is very easy to lose focus on the fight and miss the next thing you need to react to. To that effect, the larger the button to open a game tab is, the easier it is to reflexively open the tab. This drastically reduces the time actions take and greatly improves your gameplay if you maintain focus on the monster. Personally, i do not struggle with the size of the buttons too much. Your click location is just an integral done on the phone side that clicks you in the geometric center of the circle created by your thumb. So just aim small, miss small. However I dont imagine im in the majority in not being bothered by this. Most of the mobile users I have spoken with find this to be the primary obstacle to exploring and succeeding at the more difficult challenges in osrs.

I suggest the buttons for game tabs, prayers and inventory items increase in area around 10% because this would make the size of the button more closely match the size of a persons thumb pressing that button. It will eliminate having to move your finger to see the area you are aiming for (drastically improving reaction speed for critical actions like switching protection prayers). It will reduce overall frustration in people attempting more challenging things in game.

Wherher you accept my proposal or not, please consider some rework of mobile controls for combat situations. This game rivals the best action, best adventure and best strategy games on the mobile market. If only others could see it without complaining about the controls to the point of quitting.
