It seems game kicks you out when your phone decides to change from wifi to cellural data. This is perhaps because the IP address changes? This is okay in desktop&laptop version but this might be annoying in the mobile version where these kind of changes happen more often.

I'm sure some of my feedback has been said a million times but I'll just type out all problems I've noticed so far.


1. The UI is way too small. A regular RS player may be able to deal with it, but for this game to be accepted by new players it has to be much easier to read and use. Having to touch a 1 mm spot on the screen to do some actions is just really tedious and just makes me want to use the desktop version because repetitive tasks take way too much concentration.
Also makes it hard to read.

2. The tap button at the bottom left is pretty strange. Right now it has a few functions (1 tap, keyboard) but it doesn't make much sense why these functions just don't have their own buttons already. I found myself wanting to switch between 1 tap and also open the keyboard easily without having to go up to the chatbox, but couldn't do it.

3. If possible it'd be a better use of space to have a square minimap.

There are a 2 that have stood out to me playing on mobile.

The first is that audio quality seems to be noticeably worse on mobile compared to desktop. Specifically, the high range seems crushed and compressed. I can try to get a recording of the desktop and mobile audio to compare if needed.

Second, the interface for music selection is hard to use at the moment: the scroll bar is tiny and hard to tap, the up and down buttons on the scroll bar cannot be held as it registers as a right-click, and finally the songs are hard to select as the font is small.

A feature I'd like to request is for the game to keep your interface layout. Currently, the chat and the minimap are reset on login, and the "Fn-mode" button is reset when the app restarts. I think that if the interface is saved between sessions, it will be easier to jump in and play without having to fiddle with the interface every time.

On a "smaller" screen like the S7's, the game is running very impressively and the navigation is spot on. I would obviously not do something insanely click-intensive such as Inferno with a touch screen and probably never will, but the game is exactly as I imagined Mobile being as a 12 year old. Great job Jagex, keep improving this and making all of our dreams come true. I will be happy to continue to update you guys on my experience :)

Increase the size of clickboxes on inventory items. The ui is small and its easy to press in between of items by accident.

Bank could have disable sorting button, when it's on you couldn't sort bank items by dragging. Instead dragging would work like scroll bar.

Just started the beta but a few hours ago and the only thing I noticed was while fishing, when I click on a spot to fish and someone else is there it tends to select any other person fishing at that spot rather than the spot itself. Could just be I have big fingers lol but perhaps click accuracy could be improved in this specific situation.

Edit: This was on the android version.

Would it be possible to get some sort of persistent notification to tell us our character status? With mobile i feel like we will "tab out" a lot to read guides, look at youtube, etc like we normally would on pc. It's a lot harder to multitask on a phone where the game takes up 100% of screen space. I mean lets face it, nobody wants to sit and woodcut on a phone, it'd be really nice to see something like "Status: In combat/gathering/idle."

Something else i've noticed as well, and i don't know if this is an issue with the app or my specific phone, but I sometimes have a really hard time hitting the buttons in the corners, like the function button for example, because it's right where my screen curves off the sides (Samsung S8+). Sometimes it feels fine and I have no problem tapping it. I think there may also be an issue with the app/my phone not registering taps when returning to the game from another app. Sometimes i'll have to sit there and just keep tapping for a while until it starts registering.

The final issue i've found so far, is that sometimes after tabbing back in from another app, all of my clicks register like a milimeter above where i'm tapping. Like if I click the music harp, it will open the quest log. Tabbing in and out doesn't fix it once it happens, have to quit the app and sign back in.

The only two real things that really bug me are when you long press to view your XP remaining, etc and when you long press to view spells. It will trigger the long-press right-click. Maybe if certain menus don't apply that long-press functionality or a long-press toggle button at the top of some menus and when checked use the same logic as the long-press tap function (from the "fn" button)? My only comments at this time, otherwise I love it! :)

Edit: Also implementing drag scrolling on lists would be cool (instead of having to drag vertical menu bars, or hold down the arrows to scroll up/down, but then it triggers a long-press).
