Testing on a Motorola Moto G XT1032 (pretty old phone, luckily not my daily device)
After a couple hours of testing I have the following feedback:
- The app runs as I would expect judging by the specs of the phone. I get somewhere between 25 and 40 FPS on average, which is usable for safe gameplay. Stuttering and lag spikes are rare.
- There often seems to be a big delay (0.5-2 sec) between me tapping on the screen and the game registering it with a yellow or red circle. This makes tapping objects or NPC's quite hard regardless of it being you or them moving. This is likely due to the old phone, but it would probably be nice to prioritise interaction over FPS.
- The chat category buttons (All, game, etc.) are quite hard to tap because they are both small and very close to the edge of the screen. My phone has a case that wraps around the phone slightly, naturally pushing my finger away from the button.
- I've seen people mention this before, but tapping a world using the in-game world switcher requires you to be very precise. The same goes for music, quests, friends, ignored players and clan chat.
- Scroll bars are very small in various interfaces. It would be nice to be able to drag in menu's/bank. Multiple fingers would be fine too.
- The pre-login world switcher should change the world on tapping it once, not twice. A single tap should switch, holding the button should show information (world purpose/activity).
- It would be nice to be able to set a default world.
- It would be nice to hide the chat on default (or remember from previous session), although I would imagine it reducing the amount people talk to each other.
- When reporting a player by holding -> report [name* it would be nice to not have the keyboard pop up. It should only show when pressing the red Report Abuse button.
- The delay for tap&holding something could be reduced in my opinion.
