any fix ? Yeah me too but I'm able to access it on mobile (android phone), so try that until it gets fixed on Jagex's end. Apparently it's crashing clients in Windows as well so I suspect it's not a Linux-unique issue. :) ty for tell me . im glad it not Linux. It happen to be fixed now

Client crashing continuously after Yak Track update, I dont do Yak Track I destroyed the list as soon as I logged in, was killing boss and somehow that was the first task so i opened to claim the reward and that is the moment onward I started seeing lag, screen tearing and complete freeze. It happenes now randomly and after it has crashed, the client loads, i can get to loby but when i log into world i am greeted with blank screen and computer freezes.

Never faced any kind of problem even when they didn't have an official client. Running Ubuntu 18.0.4 latest build everything updated. I reiterate I didn't have a single problem in any way before this update. Can't even stay logged in for 5 min straight now, what am I supposed to do? Don't play till 2nd November? Do they even look at forums ? Why am I writing here? Where should I write to get somebody to look into this?

It on Jagex end as It all operating systems. if not fix by next week you can post on Community Led Technical Support

I useing snapcraft runescape app on fedora 32 with i3 and built in graphics so not the best of hardwear. everything working good atm

Well, lo and behold, I checked it this morning and boom, able to get into the Yaktrack without a crash. So apparently Jagex is working on it on their end. Keep trying.

Does anyone know anything about the dark, smoky haze at the Ardougne manor farm? Even with my brightness set to the highest setting it's all murky looking. Morytania is brighter which you'd think it'd be the opposite. My motto is to be nice if I can, but also to not suffer trolls.

Been running the client on Fedora 32 for about a year when it stopped working on Thursday. Simply crashed while doing the pre-loading. I removed lock files and the cache directory but it still won't start. I'm using the latest client (2.2.7) so I don't think that's the problem but short of blowing everything away and starting from scratch I'm out of ideas.

Anyone have a suggestion that doesn't require me redoing everything over?

I've been running the Runescape flatpak on Alpine Linux edge for around a year or so as well, with no issues whatsoever. All of a sudden, it is crashing on the login screen.

I decided to try installing the official .deb file on Debian 10.7 on a fresh hard drive and fresh installation as a test, and this is crashing on the login screen as well, even though the installation was perfect and there were no library dependency issues this time.

Surprisingly, the unofficial snap package runs perfectly fine on Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS (Focal Fossa).

What could be the issue here? Can anyone else confirm this?

Honestly, I would prefer for there to be an official Steam for Linux (SteamOS) release more than anything.

I want to connect with my friends on Steam, but the only way to do that is to run the game using Proton or boot up my Windows hard drive, which I haven't touched in months and am scared to do so at this point (jokes aside, I rarely ever have to use Windows and I would definitely prefer to not use it if I don't have to.)
