I would like to propose an idea regarding the issue with the Corporal beast and Spirit Shield drops.
I do understand that It is a little late to propose this idea as there has already been a poll on this issue. However, I still think that this idea should be considered.
Additionally, this may or may not be a unique Idea as it a pretty simple concept.
My Proposal:
The Corporal Beast will have a unique drop called "Bone shards"
They're will be a total of five shards, each will be a fairly rare drop and can be combined together to make a fairly powerful shield. Since the beast is extremely difficult to kill, each shard can be made into a weaker shield to be used until all five are saved over a long period time. (This is meant to be a very rewarding prize)
Weaker shields will require a lower level of a skill to create. (perhaps 65 or 75 Crafting or smithing)
The final "Corporal Shield" or whatever you would like to call it will require a higher level to create (80 or 90 crafting or smithing)
The five Pieces: Central_Bone_Shard, Upper_Left_Bone_shard, Upper_Right_Bone_Shard, Lower_Left_Bone_shard, Lower_Right_Bone_Shard
I propose that Crafting would be a more appropriate skill as leather could be used with a thread to combine each bone shard into the final shield.
Of course, this idea does not need to be followed point by point, it's a clever concept that can be made into something better so let me know what you guys think!
