Any chance on letting existing players become iron man accounts by reseting their stats and bank? This way we can help pour usernames instead of making multiple profiles. If not any chance on adding toggles for some of the iron man features so non iron man profiles can use them I.e no combat exp in PvP zones.

I agree. I am not using my OldSchool account anymore, and I would rather use that one as the Ironman mode instead of creating a new account.

Hopefully we will get a "Play Regular | Play Ironman | Play Ultimate Ironman" menu.
(A radio button which you can select, and then it saves the value - so you don't need to keep clicking "play as".)

Okay here's my take on the Ironman mode. I understand that there shouldn't be exceptions made to allow previous Ironmen to convert keeping their current stats and banks. However, I feel that there is a logical solution to allow us to resolve many of the problems that would occur on release of the mode.
-There should be a NPC kept on tutorial island to enable a player to begin as an Ironman upon release.
-There also should be an NPC at Lumbridge Castle by the tutors for the first two weeks of Ironman mode being release to allow for previous players and Ironmen to have the option to reset their accounts and convert over to Ironman Mode. **The reason why this is very important is for people like me who have paid the months in advance for membership on their original accounts in order to play Oldschool Runescape. Doing this would enable the player to not have to pay money again for membership that the player might not have or be able to afford membership on multiple accounts. Doing this would also allow for the previous Ironmen to have their option to convert to cause less tumult in the community by the Ironman community being unsatisfied with Jagex's decision for releasing the mode. **

As an Ironman I know the grind that I have put into my account and believe that compromise should be made which would not benefit the previous Ironmen in anyway, but allow for a fresh start in the legitimate mode.

I agree, some way to use the same account in either normal mode, iron man mode and Ultimate Ironman would be nice. It would make it easier to switch, rather than logging out and loggin in with another account. It also wouldn't require us to pay an extra membership. And I believe this would increase the Ironman popularity.
However.. This would cause problems for those who wants to convert their account from Ironman to normal. Jagax would also miss out on a bunch of new memberships.

I like the idea of some sort of toggle on your existing account, however I would actually not vote for it, as I can afford another membership, and I would like to see the OldSchool team get some more resources to play with.

in my opinion it would seem that iron man mode would be something more along the lines of a "offline" version of runescape, since you are basically doing everything alone and not relying on other players for any kind of support, like something you pay for one time and can play it and make as many different iron man styles as you would like, like putting it on a sort of gamehub such as Steam, cuz i would pay 20 or 30 dollars for something i could just play by myself, it would basically just put it in the same categories as other games such as the Elder Scrolls series, Reckoning, or other 1st or 3rd person rpg's where you collect all your materials, and craft items on your own, do quests etc., i dont know if taking a MMO and converting it into a single play game is possible, but if it was i would willingly throw you my wallet and let you have your way with it for something like this. Just me being the runescape lover that i am. I've just seen alot where people talk about Oldschool Runescape possibly having a downloadable version where you can invite people to your own servers and such and i feel like Iron Man is a really great start to the idea possibly being thrown out there, not saying that it will make it past the drawing board, but just that it might be tossed up there.
