Why should wasting time get rewarded? The game is here to compete and interact with other players, why give them new armours and an icon for being stupid. They're trophy accounts, leave it as that... It's like having an account with 10Hp 99 Attack, Strength, Defence, Ranged, Magic, Prayer; useless, however; ideal for a trophy account because it looks good... They look good as they are why do you need to try to make them look better...

I don't understand everyone's opposition to the implementation of spirit shields, do people not understand that although they will make users more powerful in pvp, if you smite one... you're rich? Its a risk/reward kind of thing...

If you're rich enough to buy one then you can have the advantage over other players, if you're a poor lazy pleb then get off your arse and do something to get rich..

Ultimate Iron Man mode? Can't use a bank? Can't use teleports?

This is so terribly arbitrary... Why place random restrictions that have nothing to do with "IronMan" accounts? It's like randomly saying IronMan accounts can't high alch or use fletching.

I get IronMan mode, and I get the response of "If you don't like it don't do it", but there is literally no appeal or reason for these restrictions beside "lol look what I did". It's like def pures with 99 def and 1 str/att. All you can do is show off.

I really like the idea of having Corporal Beast added into Oldschool. Though I feel, like many others in the forums and in-game feel that you should keep the ideas relatively new/unique to Oldschool. Sure we got Nightmarezone that was similar to Dominion Tower but I feel like we should keep the ideas unique and fresh to Oldschool.

Adding Corporal Beast is fine by me, but I think the drops, sigils and shields should be changed because it is too closely resembling RS3, some others shield drops that look sweet and new is fine by me. Just again try to keep RS3 content away from Oldschool content.

The Ironman mode though, that is a good idea that I think you should keep. I think many others agree Ironman mode it a fantastic idea for both Oldschool and RS3.

Anyways thats just my opinion. Thanks for your time.

A few quick questions...


If you're a hardcore iron man would you be able to transition to just a basic iron man in the future?

Should I take "no teleports" as it is at face value? This means law runes are essentially useless for those accounts?

Things change, I think in RS3 pures can even reset there def to 1 nowadays. I remember reading about it a few days ago.
