@Zeale Yep you didn't know jagex was going to adopt iron man know... Well neither did I. I've made my iron man and spend many hours into it... There is no way i am just going to make another account and do the same stuff again. Making a iron man mode doesn't help the iron mans existing today, while we are the people that came up with this idea. So why let people start all over again? Just for some Highscores?

But you can still play on your ironman? Just no ironman highscores for it. I have a low level iron man, I might of played 10hours max on it. I know its not the same as spending 500 hours+ on an account but. I find it better a fresh start, so we know nobody cheated. Then everyone has a fair chance on the highscores.

This is like when a few people wanted their RS3 account brought to OSRS. It didn't happen, and it was a good thing it didn't. I have a maxed out(combat) rs3 account and didn't care about starting all over for OSRS.

Support, but there needs heavy balancing on the shields.
I understand the need to add more complex bosses into the game to keep entertainment value etc. and i have no problem with corp since it came out not too long after gwd anyways. Guardians of Valor/High Council

I just started my Iron Man account a few days ago so maybe I'm not the concern, but I know others, such as B0aty, A Friend, Iron Faux, et al., have put thousands of hours into their accounts and they may lose all of that effort or at least lose official recognition of their achievements.

Mod Mat K addressed a few of these concerns already, but is there are more information you can give about what us Iron Men should be doing to increase the likeliness of our accounts carrying over, and also what advice would you give us regarding these concerns? Should we stop playing out iron Man accounts until this releases (assuming it passes)?

EDIT: I want to clarify that, while I have my concerns, I am very excited for Iron Man Mode!

I love the idea of corp, when it comes to bossing there's only DK's and GWD that see allot of activity every day most other boss's are baron aside from the odd person hunting for a pet.

I also love the idea of high end equipment but I shall be voting no and encouraging everyone else to do the same, unless the shields are put to a vote individually.

I've know read one comment or heard one person say they don't want spectral, arcane or elysian but I've seen countless complaining about divine. The way I see it is each shield should have it's own poll question, that way the players get exactly what they want and the poll won't fail because of one item.

I just want any content that is brought back to osrs as it was pre-eoc to be polled on bringing it the traditional way or a new way. The spirit shields aren't really oped considering the effect cost prayer and could be the downfall of people losing divines which may cost 500m+. With the fact that the dragon defender will be a bounty hunter reward which is stupid to me, people will for sure use divines to help out more in getting it. All they have to do is have polls done better. Stop mixing so much together because you force people to choose and give us more options so you can better understand what everyone wants. I'm tired of the yes and no's (artisan perfect example) I said no because of the rewards and the execution of how to train the skills. I didn't mind the slayer like aspect but the rewards and such hurt. I liked maybe 35% of it but I love the idea of Artisan skill......just not the way you guys executed it

As for iron man, I'm not sure if they are letting people keep their accounts without starting over but i think everyone should start fresh. I understand people worked on them for months but so did pre-eoc people and look what happened ^^....but i think it should be polled either way and if not im not going to be mad or anything and of course i'll be saying yes to both because I like the iron man idea. I do wish there was a seasonal thing like someone mentioned before.."keno" I think...sorry if I forgot your name but I love that idea. I don't mind new bosses and what not but I do hate older content being brought in through new means without being polled. If anything bounty hunter should have all the things it had before with the addition of that ring, smithing necklace (which I have no idea why this is a pk reward...) but no to the defender.

I usually hate ignorance but unfortunately I am going to vote 'no' on your ironman updates, or any other update that doesn't phase me if corp doesn't pass simply because your all low levels who can't actually kill it effectively.

Two can play this game. If you vote 'no' on my updates im just going to start voting 'no' on all of yours =)

Now why would you do that? Either you want the update or you don't.......so idiotic and childish to say no to something because someone else says no to something you want. I don't care if others do it....does that mean you do it too? The effect will only increase and eventually no one will ever get what they want. Not everyone is LOW level and can't kill corp but some have stated they want summoning with the spirit of summer and summers end quest and are MAXED. While I agree with them on that, I know it will take time for corp to come so im not going to be mad if there's no summoning. Just like with artisan, people always assume those who say no are just pvmers or pkers and don't want anything for skillers and vice versa.......there are those who say yes for the idea but no to the content executed....

Boaty even says his account is not a ironman, but a self sufficient account. I'd not even work on one right now because I doubt any are going to be carried over. I can't speak for everyone it's just what I think.
