Also, I forgot to mention... I wouldn't have minded the Saradomin Tear. I would not have used it personally. I feel it could've been better implemented to cater to PvM and let the Abyssal Tentacle cater to PvP. As for the Dragon Spike, 100% understand why it did not pass...

A lot of the PvM'ers were upset by how it was proposed. To be a PvP exclusive or be forced to pay a sum of cash... I do not think it is the last time we will see the Dragon Defender on polls. I have already heard rumors of an "Adamant Dragon" or return of the Cyclosus update.

Please make an option to clear all private chat. Having a wall of blue text when your split is on and people are website advertisement spamming you gets annoying.

On a secondary note, please make the "ignore" option remove messages already sent to you by the ignored person.

Both very interesting potential updates. I'll say a bit on the matter.

Corp and Shields

The Corp. Beast is a good update to bring to OSRS. The boss is definitely part of a lot of our memories. Wasn't nostalgia one of the driving themes that came with the release of OSRS? I believe Corp. will pass simply because of this. There's nothing wrong with leaving the Divine spirit shield as powerful as it was. It's hard to make money in this game; if you can save up a distinctive amount of money, you should be able to bu ya distinctive item - one that is also actually useful in the things you do everyday such as PvM or PvP. The Divine Spirit Shield is truly a prize to be won. Little if nothing should be changed about it.

The Iron Man Challenge.

This sounds like a very fun concept and one that I would definitely be willing to actively participate in. One player mentioned a page back his concern that this challenge would bring "Elitism" to OSRS. This is true to some extent. However, the separate highscores table sort of balances it out, at least for me.

Id be happy to see both of these updates implemented into Oldschool Runescape. I really do hope Corp makes it through the poll. If Iron Man doesn't make it, I would definitely understand. We'll just have to wait and see.

Why not add in that message the random event use to have, it said something like "someone else is fighting that" and lock every monster so if an ironman attacks it then nobody else can? I don't agree with that. Iron men shouldn't have a special ability of being able to lock a monster just because they're attacking it. If they want that type of thing, make "iron men only" worlds so everyone has that ability on that world.

I haven't finished reading through the thread to see if a jmod responded to this but I have to agree, I want a race from nothing again like at beginning of osrs, it was a ton of fun.

Everyone should be starting at 0 on iron man. If not I have an iron man with 1.5k total and like 220 qp so I wouldn't be completely sad about it but I want the excitement of racing and competing against other people from nothing again. Maxed Sept 24th, 2015 - 134th to max

Sure, put them in this thread.

- no minigames
- no pest control
- no BA
- Can't enter other POH (or use anything in it)
- imbue only at nmz ( disable normal reward shop)
100% damage to receive loots (possible ironman only world without multi combat zones)
Fresh start for everyone because i think no one would meet the reqs to transfer as most people buy runes from the shop (rule mention below)


Also what about the shades of morton quest as it isn't soloble.

i think the rule "Only allowed to buy items which cannot be made or gathered as a resource from shops " is a bit harsh think about law runes or armour.

edit: what about a ironman only fc ?

^ Minigames should be allowed. Barbarian assault should also be allowed.

The only way I will want to vote yes on the iron man mode is if you make it fair and make ALL iron men start over. EVEN STREAMERS.

Don't show favoritism Jagex.

No to 100% damage to receive loot. Then you could just have a troll do 1 damage to all monsters.

Shades of Mort'ton should also be allowed.
Minigame tellies should be allowed. Don't restrict us from content.

ALLOW NIGHTMARE ZONE!!!!!!! That is a stupid rule to say we can't use it when it does not involve player interaction. Also it is a great source of pure essence and I don't have hundred of hours to spend mining it.

Anyways, I'm probably voting no if I'm gonna be forced to start over. You guys told me time and time again I wouldn't have to start over and now you guys are going back on your word.

Also the no pvp xp rule is stupid. I'm gonna want to play castle wars or maybe even soul wars (if it comes out), stealing creation, etc. I wanna get exp from playing those games. It is really important (mainly with freezing spells like barrage) to know how much xp you get so you can know ahead of time if you froze them or not.

From a smithers point off view, I would like to get the rune platebody's alch value increase aswell.
I mean 3 bars for a runite rune 2h is 38.3k alch value, while rune platebody is 39k aka 700 gp different.
