Make sure the option of turning ironman mode off is something like through email, so no hacked account can get griefed from that.

It'll be behind a PIN

After I've seen all your replies on the messages on this thread, It would be nice if you could reply on my comment as well :) Thx in advance!

An iron man mode would be a great challange and an amazing addition to OSRS!
I would also suggest to relocate the complete OSRS forum to the oldschool website instead of it being integrated on the RS3 website.

Some reasons for doing this will be:

- Expected growth in the number of forum users
- Less lagg when loading a new webpage
- The real oldschool feeling (same design etc like it was in 2007)

I can not think of any cons for this idea, So PLEASE take it into consideration.

Greetings,

Karaboudjan

Could you add in to the adamant platebody question that this was in fact an update in 2009 please, I'm pretty passionate about this update and would prefer people to know this was the case back in the day instead of a random update.

Why do you want to devalue smithing? If money is an issue, you have plenty of cheaper options to train it.

Short Story: Fresh start or No
Even though my iron man meets the requirements to be qualified as a "legit" iron man based on the RS rules, I will be voting no unless its a clean start...If we're going to have highscores for the type of account everybody should know what the rules are before getting themselves into it.I never used NMZ because I felt it was a bit cheap but I have too many friends who have used it and have great iron men account. It was a just a judgement call on whether or not you thought it was a good idea or not at the time, as there was no set rule on whether or not NMZ is allowed or not.

On a separate note: I also agree on the 100% damage requirement for the loot, along with disabling Pest Control. PC is a group mini-game.

I will definitely be doing this, a few questions:

It says that you can't use an altar in somebody else their house, what about lecterns and armour stands?

Also for ultimate ironman I think you should still keep 3 items on death to make it more realistic rather then a joke, disconnects happen

I think it was originally going to be permanent death.
