This is an example of perfect tanking and situation based skill. If you don't have any the wilderness is not for you. That said, you do not need any of that to survive. A base hit of "0" is a 100% miss and you still have the chance to eat a consumable, may it be just a lobster, you're protecting yourself over the damage of an AGS.

Also: Some max hit calcs.

Armadyl Godsword = 82
Dark Bow = 48+48 = 96
*Edit In* Dharoks Set - 98(+) (I hit 98 in both NMZ and Pest Control.)
Dragon Claws = Base Hit (40) = 80
Dragon Dagger: 43+43 = 86
Granite Maul = 45x3 (unconfirmed 45 cap) = 135

The Dragon Claws remain not only the lowest damage output possible, but they also are one of the few that can be restored during hit period. Armadyl Godsword, Dark Bow and Granite Maul offer no time for restoration. The Dagger and Claws have a gap in which players may restore and switch gear as needed.

The biggest concern by a longshot is rushing.
1.) If you have to rush, you do not belong in PvP. No one high risks anymore so for whatever reason you're rushing for Dragon Daggers, is as pathetic as raggers.
2.) If you don't want rushed the fix is simple: get out of the bank. Once again, if you are to afraid to leave the wilderness safe zones, maybe you shouldn't be PK'ing.

I am a long time PK'er and hold the high Dark Bow KO in-game currently. I have picture and video clip to prove it : ). I hybrid, I tank, I max main fight and Dharok Risk. I love PvP and PvM both and see claws as an improvement to the game, but a lot of the lesser skilled players do not. It is a huge disappointment that the veteran community is so held back. I really do hope the staff polls the 70% Poll System. It is very necessary.

No hate, just a serious question if anyone knows an update on that.

No idea, it has been a while... There is a Priority Poll about to release and in the Dev Blog it states that Trading Post will not be in the poll. This is because it is already confirmed to be working on.

Who knows...
