What Jajex forget is that many of us joined old school to get away from remorseless updates that changed the feel of the game. Many of these people will leave if the gameply changes too much - I wonder what the net effect would be?

If there must be change then why not add more benefits from upping the existing skills (in some skills you gain nothing for levelling up as many as five levels) or by improving the interface. Or, start a new old school and leave the current one where it is!

We have so many other skills which we don't train, why would we need another?


Artisan IS training your OTHER skills with additional items to make life slightly easier.

Okay this really made me upset, I play oldschool to get away from all those updates that ruin the new game, I want oldschool to not turn into a game with minigames and buyable game cash. Add that artisan stuff to the new game, I speak for thousands of people who have voted no and if this poll passes, I am never going to buy a runescape subscription again. Eventually, you are going to wind up with the same game as 2014 with all the mindless people voting for new content do not admit they don't know their loved game of runescape 2007 is turning into 2014 at a slower pace. You guys have to understand that if you want all this new chrome casted new stuff. When this comes it will slowly just keep getting updated and updated into the game I used to love to play. Before you know it they will add Dungeoneering next and drygores and everything and all that will be left is the graphical interface. Help me stop this and vote no, trust me I know what is coming. There is a point to a game based on truely nostalgic players like me who don't care if its old but want to play because that was the game that made me want to pay for my subscription at core. And I know I have that one guy who is going to make some snarky comment but I don't care. If you don't have anything nice to say about my comment then don't say it.

I would vote yes on this, but I am highly against the new items.

This new skill sounds absolutely awesome! Slayer for skills? I'd love that. However, I would not love new weapons and items, enough that I cannot vote yes for this.

I voted no for everything... I think the idea of the skill is great, I'd love it. But new bows? As if the weapons we have aren't already OP enough?

I Honestly feel that all the people who say they are voting no didn't actually take the time to read about the skill. I just took a detailed read and honestly I love it. It gives skillers more incentive to play and gives new purchasable equipment for pkers/pvmers to fight with. I see so many people saying this will make it like rs3 and honestly no it will not. Wheel of ******** would make this game like rs3. This update breathes life into dead skills and gives new purposes for still used ones. Also with more people skilling then potions/food will drop in price*

** DR More skillers will come to play osrs.

poll thing will change the game too much. The majority people might want the skill, but the majority will also never agree on what should be added or left alone.
I don't mind adding in new content every here and there to give the game more flavor, but adding a new skill is huge.
Personally, I
like
some aspects of the skill, and
hate
some aspects of the skill. The idea is creative, but will overall change the economy drastically and make some skills way easier, which I don't like.
Oldschool skilling is MUCH harder, yet simplistic (in comparison to rs3) and I prefer the challenge. Adding a new skill might make things more complicated for players who are still exploring the game. But who knows, maybe I'll like it if it comes out? I don't mind trying it out. I feel like this is only going to come out because of the people who are already level 126 maxed out on osrs who get bored with the game so they don't quit but tbh if you're 126 cb and maxed you probably should quit and rethink your life and go outside sorry. :) :) :) :) :)
