I thought we wanted OSRS to be free from unnecessary updates...
A lot of these features will only promote a bigger problem with bots by crashing prices, Larger boundaries between F2P and P2P (Although, I am a member myself), cheap tactics to escape in PVP battles (essentially a flee)...
I see a lot of problems with the Artisan skill.
The concept is good, but why add soo many new updates that aren't necessary at all.
It takes away the old rustic feel of Old School RS with all these added features...

Please copy and paste or write sort of comment similar.
I don't want the transition from OSRS to RS3 (Pre-EoC).

Edit: I would like to add that this update as mentioned in many other comments is simply "Making our lives easier". Where is the challenge? That is a terrible idea. I wish they would add NEW content that does not disrupt what we all came back for. If you guys wanted to play with these sort of updates, feel free to play on Legacy Mode in New School.

Alot of these items will cost alot (or will be untradeable) so with ban rates high, I doubt they will risk it.

Guys Artisan will allow more players to re join the game, because of the race to 99 hype, and also jagex know that this update will bring players into the game, they have statistics showing that it will, dont listen to these casual rebel noobs, we can still win the vote!

I've got a simple request for Jagex. Please keep this on the back burner. Keep tweaking it if you have to but hang on to this idea. Artisan will be the reason to train skills in a way that has been impractical for too long, in ways that no one has touched for over 10 years. This is a great way to introduce something new while simultaneously bringing back content that has been ignored for far too long. Honestly this should have come out in tandem with slayer and I just hope that one day it will happen.

I've played the game for many many many years bud, I've had my share of grinding. If you like to grind so much, why not play RS3 with many more skills? Why change it on the game solely made to bring back past players?

With free to play still up, botting will be a problem. They can make a lot of money by running all day and night. The accounts don't necessarily matter.

You could add quests and new areas as they are doing which bots won't bother doing and you could always add more F2P features too.

if your going to reply dont change my quote, I said that goldfarmers simply dont care about super small amounts of bonus xp and 1-2k more profit an hour. They wouldnt spend any time or money into it.

But lets get on topic,

Artisan does have flaws, it has been poll'd to early, we need another big q and a of artisan only questions, so Jmods have a bigger feel of what we want.

But 40% of the players dont have a valid argument or actual improvements to help the staff.

Which is what frustrates us all.
