There are many flaws with the beliefs of people who say no. Sorry to hate, but what you're thinking is all wrong. Just because you want the developers to introduce one piece of content rather than another doesn't mean that you vote no on artisan because you want dclaws/summoning/ge. If you think that it's strange that artisan makes you use unused content then you should also hate slayer because you're forced to kill generally unkilled monsters who have low exp rates, it's the same idea. No-one likes the early levels of slayer, so you shouldn't expect to like early levels of artisan.

And about the runecrafting robes, this is one of the only things I could see being a problem, but in reality, the time spent getting from 88-91 runecrafting is probably the same amount of time it takes to get the artisan level required to make the robes, it just depends on what you'd more likely enjoy doing.

By the way if summoning or ge is introduced, especially the ge then I will quit the game because there is no point in playing 07 if those are introduced, the ge destroyed runescape, don't argue, it's a fact.

Pretty sure robes are tradable.

How will banking of resources work with Artisan? Should we haul teak, granite, salamanders, etc. all the way from where they are obtained, or will Jagex install bank deposit boxes near these resources? If it's the former, training this skill will be seriously tedious; if it's the latter, this will very much affect current training mechanics if we no longer have to drop sallies, fish, granite, teak, iron, ...

I was wondering why there was such a fuss, i read over this dev blog pretty well, it didn't say anything about it, i must have missed it in the previous dev blog, they should just make them untradable, like the slayer helmet, you should have to earn them. I will probably still vote for artisan, but I can now understand the fuss about the robes

There is simply too much going on in this update for 75% of people to vote yes on it. Majority of people will scan through this see some of the boosts and items and say heck no. I do not see artisan getting passed as a skill. Mini game with rewards maybe but that just sounds like stealing creation.

But in regards to the update what is the point in wasting a snapdragon or other herb on a food for a CHANCE of it doing something or making a totem to teleport to a RANDOM farming path? It just isn't efficient. The items in the update like the artisan harpoon and axe just water down the product that is OSRS and isn't really 'new content'. Sure you might get more swordfish or more birds nests but that isn't really in the spirit of OSRS.

I think it's amazing how we are even having this discussion about an update this big for OSRS and that the Mods actually care but I just can't see this happening.

I really appreciate the effort you are going to and the feedback from the community you are taking, but I still feel that even WITH community feedback this skill is still too reflective of the "Easyscape" mentality.

I will be voting no again, I do however appreciate your efforts. I greatly look forward to the new continent!

Note: It seems you are going to anyway, but please don't re-poll this again after this poll if it fails, despite other player recommendations for additional changes.
