I was definitely worried that the new proposed experience rates would be too high. I'm still a little sour that there will be no requirements needed while the other courses will have requirements. However, I feel that your intentions, which was to provide alternative ways to train without making the skill too easy is met with these. I feel that these are acceptable experience rates and hope they are not further increased.

I don't quite get what you mean with the courses will have no requirements?

I'm sorry for not being too specific. All the best courses in the game had a quest requirement and thus were more difficult to access. I've always thought that those courses that were not as easily accessible should come with greater reward. My worry was that these courses would render these courses as dead content or not as worthwhile. If these experience rates remain the same then I suppose there is still a reason to do these quest if you're >85 agility.

Less chance of failing obstacles? Run restores 5-10% faster when wearing the full set?

Less chance of failing obstacle would be alright but only a 5-10% faster run energy restore is not worth spending about 60 hours to get the full set.

Looks cool :O
Are we ever going to see these courses or the outfit in RS3?

Some of the RS3 devs have been taking a bit too much interest, so who knows.

:O It would be nice if it remained an Old School exclusive

I was going to reply to him as well, but then as i reloaded the page, your suggestion was there too. I figured it best to reply to the most recent one, as it caters to the both of you as well. I thought the other person would read it and see it applies to them, as both of you have the same concept. I suppose in hindsight it wasn't the most efficient way of responding. I will edit my other post to include the other person as well. My apologies.

A 50% faster energy restore rate does not seem overpowered at all when you add the fact you need to do roughly 60 hours of rooftop agility to get the full set.

Yes, but then it gives an too big of unfair advantage to those who have it. You want something rewarding, that players will enjoy having but not something that puts everyone at such a big disadvantage.

Perhaps re-visit your idea, and cap it at 15-20% and make it scalable based on level. This way it is still rewarding, useful, and players who put in more time and effort, get more reward. That is something I would vote on.

Just thinking about the extra requirements, I'm not sure how possible it would be without speaking to Ash (he's off today) but can you think of any existing pieces of content which we could tie unlocking the courses in to? For example, you need to do Tribal Totem quest to unlock the Ardougne Course, or One Small Favour to unlock Seers.

From what I heard, it sounds like its going to take 60 hours to get the full set of gracefull, until you hit 90+ agility, then it gets faster.
Couldn't you make the amount of time needed to get the full set more varied?
As in like,
60+ hours for below 40 agility then around 50 hours at 50 agility, 40-45 hours at 60-70 agility, and around 30-40 hours from 80 and higher to get the full set?

Or something along those lines, I just honestly feel that the amount of time needs a bit more variation, just a suggestion :p

thanks.

50% is way too much lol, you realize that would be effectively increasing agility xp rates by 50%? plus all the other skills like hunter, construction, thieving, slayer, smithing, runecrafting would all get a bit faster.

Prince ali rescue for al kharid

fremmenik trials for relleka

But then putting these reqs on the courses would lock level 3 skillers out so it might be best to just have no reqs on them (except for the canafis one)
