Definitely support adding quest requirements, it wouldn't be fair to be able to access these new courses without some per-requisites aside from agility level requirement.

I also support the addition of a set effect, here are some ideas;

- 50% energy restore rate, however must not be moving.

- 1.5x-2x energy restore when drinking energy\super energy restore\summer pie\strange fruit\etc.

Just thinking about the extra requirements, I'm not sure how possible it would be without speaking to Ash (he's off today) but can you think of any existing pieces of content which we could tie unlocking the courses in to. For example, you need to do Tribal Totem quest to unlock the Ardougne Course, or One Small Favour to unlock Seers.

Draynor - Vampire Slayer

Varrock- Romeo and Juliet + Shield of Arrav

Alkharid- Prince Alie rescue, and have successfully stolen the lowest level sq'uirk from sorcerers garden

Canifs- Priest in Peril

Falador- Recruitment Drive

Seers- Murder Mystery

Pollnivneach- The Fued

Relleka- Fremminik Trials

Ardy - Legends

I think the higher the course XP yeilds, the harder the tying quest should be. However, I suppose something should be done for the low level skillers. As they are likely to complain. NO!! people shouldn't be forced to quest to use content. i am not doing legends so i can do the ardy course *even though i'm 51 agility.. but still*. plus you have to think about skillers how is a lvl 3 going to do legends, fremmy trials, recruitment drive, priest in peril, and vampire slayer? just let the courses have the level requirement. is that not enough?

edit: to anyone else asking for quests. stop it. stop forcing people to do quests not everyone likes doing them. and not everyone can do them. stop thinking of the "authenticity" and think about other people. OS Status: Nothing atm.

RS3 Status: 120 Slayer done now onto figuring out what I should do next.

Stop making the game easy, think about what happened to actual RS.

The game shouldn't cater to people who are lvl 3. That's a self imposed restriction you've put onto yourself. If there is higher level content out there that gives better XP rates than current courses then you should have some sort of additional requirements to use the course.

Stop making the game easy, think about what happened to actual RS. how does this make the game easy? by not forcing quests on someone? there is still the level requirement derp. OS Status: Nothing atm.

That's not really relevant, my point still stands. And this has nothing to do with respect in regards to lvl 3 skillers, it's about not catering to and making updates AROUND them. Again, choosing to be level 3 is a self imposed restriction. It's like a 1 defence pure demanding that all new armor have no defence requirements so they can wear it.

In my opinion there shouldn't be any updates to skills which give better xp\hr than current methods, but if there is then there should be fairly significant requirements to access it.
