Colosseum is awesome idea, possibly having a free to play option for it, or a gear cap (valuewise) so the less fortunate financially actually have a chance to participate, a common problem i found in the tournaments was poor people getting stuck against tribrid barrows or even worse, yes it was an easy win for myself and others with money, but there was no honour, and the Colosseum is all about HONOUR etc)

free to play option (max is full rune for melee) gives every one the same best in slots pretty much without having to spend 200m) or another addition to this to counter it all together is to issue every1 with special gladiatorial armours witch would be best in slot, and increase all combat stats to 99 (or a set number so every1 has the same stats, perhaps every1 gets the same stats as the highest player if no maxed melee is around)

as for the new continant itself, i would like to see corp released but we all know it would be crowded as hell instantly, and for the forseeable future.

What my suggestion is, releasing another Monster, same difficulty same stats, drops would equal those of corp (ie: if both bosses drop weapons the only difference is their look, stat wise they are identical) same goes for all equipment drops, just to try and thin out the mass swarm that would descend upon corp, plus adds a bit more variety in what players can wear at max level, without having to sacrifice stats to look good.

I would also like to see a high level end game version of the "dragon slayer quest" obviously not a remake but that concept, the quest could be used to introduce a new area, where the player would join up with this kingdoms army (or perhaps the gnome navy) to lay siege to said monsters lair.

Jagex would get sued so hard for using that. There's a TV series called Terra Nova.

I don't think that that matters. Considering it's just Latin speech.

This.

I really hope you guys will be able to balance all of the added areas out so that it doesn't become empty space and dead content.

Here are some of the things I think need to be considered + some ideas.

I'm sure new fairy rings, major city teleports etc will be added - Magic levels for the teleports, Maybe a new kind of gem for new jewellery which could provide new enchants could be helpful.
I think other options of travel should be considered using different skills instead of just magic. Maybe add a set of teleports to the prayer skill? Call them warps as to be different from the magic teleports.

Farming patches - Something I think could make good use of "empty" space and is something that takes peopel to places they wouldn't usually go, But I think adding too many farming patches, specifically tree patches would make farming too easy.. Maybe new patches could be in places that take quite a bit of time to get to.

Blood/Soul altars - Possible :) ?

A new area like the fight caves? Maybe against waves of increasingly difficult pirates, zombies, dragons, idk.

World boss as suggested by some other players would be a great idea, but could lead to luring, scamming etc. I think it would be awesome to have a world boss though.

I'll post any more ideas/thoughts I come up with :D

I think that's a great idea, but the wall could be like the wall the Romans built in Brittan, separating the civilized world from fierce barbarians!

Hadrian's Wall? I'd love to see something like that. A huge city, well protected by a massive wall with multiple keeps and archers watching over the terrain, while not too far off are settlements of barbaric tribes or raiders that constantly skirmish with each other.

It's up to you developers. But remember to leave some empty space for the future. Don't shoot everything. Maybe you could plant this new continent in two parts.( like with a big wall that is between west and east Ardougne...? ;) )

I would support the raiding ideas, but remember, this is still RuneScape and not WOW. This failed once with EOC,keep that in mind.We shouldda widen the gulch between these games.

First of all: YEEEEE. I am exceptionally excited about a new continent. The most oldschool thing, to me at least, was running around exploring and not having a clue what you would find.

Second of all: A few requests.

1-Don't clutter! This always bugged me about the mainland after 2007 or so. You could barely swing a cat without bumping into some new content or another. Please leave plenty of free space so that we can just roam aimlessly.

2-Towns+Cities with purpose! I love how the cities on the mainland all have their own purpose. Like ardougne is for thieving, seers for fletching, catherby for fishing... that sort of thing. They're like unofficial guilds - please let us have similar cities in the new continent.

3-Villages with niche purposes. Like, nothing that big, but just a little something. Like lleyta with flax picking, or phastmatys with the furnace.

4-Things that you don't immediately know the purpose of. This one I love! Like in my F2P days when I didn't know what the adventurers in lumbridge swamp were for, or lucien in the house nw of varrock. Those sort of things that are out in the open for all to see but you don't really know what they're for until you do the quest.

And third of all: a question.

If this new continent is going to be so reliant on ships and stuff, why on earth did you exclude sailing from the pdc?
