other ideas to explore:
Choice of god to follow upon character creation (Ex.: Zamorak follower)
> grants access to all evil stuff
< Spells, armors and all the stuff you do is evil!
Multiple characters on one account (different levels / banks)
Way of life possibilities: bandit, necromancer, merchant, nature specialist, knight, wizard student, viking, soldier, etc.
If multiple characters can be an option, give the possibility to live other lives than human (monkey, gnome, elf, troll, orc, vampire, etc)

Little note: RS currently has a vast lore and quests that get you in the game, but... Players always end up doing it in a non roleplaying way! Example: cook assistant quest, while wearing full dharok. No, just no. Make armor sets for duties, and let players go like they want when on their own. But don't always leave them on their own! Make us follow the roleplay path!
