How is any of this defined as 'basic maintenance', because the poss results indicate that 07scape is supposed to get only basic maintenance, not weekly updates, and certainly not events. I find it insulting that people would reward cheating scumbags who violated terms of service and voted many times, putting the entire polls validity in question.

This update seems to suggest that you are doing more then basic maintenance, so what was the point of the poll? The one thing I do agree with is polls having yes and no options,

Down with 07scape! It's a money pit and it's causing nothing but harm, and it's a fad that is doomed to die in the long run. And it's impeding us from receiving our content as evidenced by the delay to 'The World Wakes', and small clans that can't afford to lose members are suffering greatly.

The only way to "cheat" teh poll was to create multiple MEMBER accounts. If someone wanted to spend $10 to get an additional vote, then I think thet is still a valid vote.

Also, we were promised basic maintenance AND a "small team" for ongoing development AND regular member polls to decide new content. we are getting what we voted for.

And lastly, JaGex already stated that they would NOT be taking any resources away from EOCscape. So quit your whining and go breath fire on a goblin or something. Us oldies deserve to have a chance to play the game we love.

I have nothing against with the proposed updated EXCEPT rares. I do not think rares should be implemented into the game at all unless they are un-tradeable. There is no realistic way to add them in fairly with the current economy of Old School and I would hate to see them in it.

Some other updates I would like to see to 07, after looking through all of the updates through the years on RS Wikia:

1) Tab to PM
2) Clan Wars Arena (Preferably the original..one arena all multi)
3) Blood Alter
4) Smoking Kills Quest

1) The <OPTION> for bank tabs, bank search, withdraw (previously selected amount) and deposit inventory/wielded items were fantastic updates and I'd love to see them on here.

2) The 'operate' function on enchanted jewellery to be replaced with the available teleports from that item.

3) Auto rejoin chats upon login (I'd LOVE to ask for clanchats with a hiscores/ranking system but I'm aware that's a very large thing to ask for.)

4) An oldschool forum. I'm fully aware we've got part of the normal Runescape forum, but I feel a completely seperate forum would be delightful.

5) The anti-mute technology developed in EOCscape which automatically muted mass spamming gold sellers/etc.

6) Another suggestion which I'd say is probably be too large, but a lobby would be fantastic.

7) F2P worlds to be exclusively only F2P in wilderness, not all over the world!

3) I don't use FC or CC, so it doesn't bother me. But I'll support for you because I don't think it destroys the game at all
4) No no no. Sorry. While I WOULD like an 07 forum, I think it would put an even bigger rift between EOCscapers and Oldscapers.
5) This is included in the anti-bot technology roll out. It is happening, but needs to be tweaked to suit the '07 environment (technically)
6) JaGex have already stated that this will never happen. And I agree with it**** is not an instant messenger :<. BUT what I DO want is a world hopper function, where you can hop worlds without having to log out/in =)
7) No support. I would prefer the fiendish PKers to be out of my world altogether. Let them go live and breed in their own worlds, far away from the honest and decent folks.

This is absolutely silly. Over 25% of Runescape players do not have the intellectual prowess to understand, or comprehend the consequences of their decision.

There was a concept created long ago, and I heard that a few countries based their legal system off of it.......I think it was called ~~~~MAJORITY RULES~~~

This is just an excuse so Runescape Devs can be much lazier, and not have to implement what needs to be done. Your going to throw your only chance of making profits again, down the drain.
