How is any of this defined as 'basic maintenance', because the poss results indicate that 07scape is supposed to get only basic maintenance, not weekly updates, and certainly not events. I find it insulting that people would reward cheating scumbags who violated terms of service and voted many times, putting the entire polls validity in question.

This update seems to suggest that you are doing more then basic maintenance, so what was the point of the poll? The one thing I do agree with is polls having yes and no options,

Down with 07scape! It's a money pit and it's causing nothing but harm, and it's a fad that is doomed to die in the long run. And it's impeding us from receiving our content as evidenced by the delay to 'The World Wakes', and small clans that can't afford to lose members are suffering greatly.

EoC-er, do you have any idea how many of us are paying only to play 2007 version of the game? Obviously not; and be happy we are doing it, or the crap you are playing would be closed sooner than you think.
Before 2007, there were max 75k players on, now the number is double .. how is this a "money pit", when we pay for your game, same game which made us quit months ago?

And by the way, shouldn't you be there, spinning SoF, getting experience for free and pretending you are playing ?

And how is this any different than EoCscape taking valuable development time away from OSRS? I have never played EoCscape and never will. I came back after many, many years to play on the 2007 servers. I don't want to pay for your version of the game and yet I still have to. Stop complaining.

For the moment at least it seems like EoCscape and 2007scape have roughly the same amount of members online at any given moment.

=No enter key to log in. Please DO NOT ruin this lovely game to eocscape. Uhhhhhh, I do not see how having enter log you in will ruin this game, mate. Maybe you should take a chill pill and stop being so worried :)

Bank tabs, enter to login, removing roofs, tab to reply, all of these things won't turn this into EoCscape. They don't make the game easier, they make certain things less of an annoyance. Having to sift through a full bank to find X isn't hardcore or 'old school', it's annoying. Same with having to reach for my mouse to click log-in, after having typed my account details.

I would be happy about this too, but unfortunatly all I see coming in are bots, but no anti-bot ... they'll definatly need to work on this fast!

Go ahead add those settings in. I see no reason to say no to these updates but you're missing the annoying with a small Window so please make us able to choose Screensize =) makes it better since the screen size back in 2007 wasnt higher than average 17 inches and most of us now have gone from that

Hi Pips. Thanks for the DevBlog. I've not had time to read through all of the posts, however I thought I'd throw a few of my thoughts out there.

Naturally, being 07scape I don't see any major content updates being at the top of anybody's hopes (this means GWD etc.). As an avid player from both before and after 2007 I'll happily say that the game as it is right now (content wise) is superb, stable and shouldn't be altered.

That being said, I think we'd all love to see some interface changes.

1) The <OPTION> for bank tabs, bank search, withdraw (previously selected amount) and deposit inventory/wielded items were fantastic updates and I'd love to see them on here.

2) The 'operate' function on enchanted jewellery to be replaced with the available teleports from that item.

3) Auto rejoin chats upon login (I'd LOVE to ask for clanchats with a hiscores/ranking system but I'm aware that's a very large thing to ask for.)

4) An oldschool forum. I'm fully aware we've got part of the normal Runescape forum, but I feel a completely seperate forum would be delightful.

5) The anti-mute technology developed in EOCscape which automatically muted mass spamming gold sellers/etc.

6) Another suggestion which I'd say is probably be too large, but a lobby would be fantastic.

7) F2P worlds to be exclusively only F2P in wilderness, not all over the world!

Stuff like left-clicking to bank as in EoC doesn't bother me as long as it's an OPTION.
I'm a bit of an 07 purist, and I do NOT want to be spoon-fed updates that makes everything easier and/or more convenient. If you are truly going through with some of these interface/convenience updates; please, do make them an option, and don't force it onto everyone, thank you.
