I think that the ability to press the tilde (~) button to start a reply to the previous person in friends chat would be most useful. I know it wasn't on the list, but thats something that could be thrown relatively quickly and easily and would enhance communication amongst individuals in a more private way.

I think most of the people playing 2007 version of the game are here simply because they cannot stand EoC and SoF-infested Runescape.

Those changes basically turned the game we used to play into something very different and very little connected to the real spirit of Runescape, as it was - a place where everyone had equal chances, a place where you had to work for your gains, and not pay to get experience, items, resources and so on.

What "new" Jagex (or post-Gower Jagex) brought into the game is not much different from what gold/item sellers are doing when they sell over the internet what their bots are farming into the game (could this be a reason for keeping bots into the game, and only talking about the miraculous anti-bot technology which, by the way, doesn't do anything, since the same bots reported months ago are still botting? Might be some gold-selling sites sharing their profits with Jagex? has Lee Harvey Oswald killed Kennedy?).

And again, I think most of the people in 2007 would be very very happy if they had the chance to play again Runescape as it was before SoF, Solomon, EoC, Gerhard, IVP Investors ...

Armours look just fine now, we don't have to spin anything, challenges are resuming to face the almighty Jad. Maybe we don't have the nice look we had prior to summer of 2012, but we don't have ape-looking avatars either, nor "epic" emotes with miners bravely hitting rocks with their ... uhm ... heads ...

So ... updates most of us enjoyed over time - like tabbed banks, searching banks, resting, diaries, summoning - would not necessarily ruin the game, as long as its original spirit wouldn't be twisted again ... same for HD, resizeable screen, removing roofs, door closing in farming shop, where the Master Farmer used to be trapped by players, some quests and, if I don't go too far, GWD (last one arguable).

Oh! By the way! Back in 2007, Runescape also had an Andrew Gower. Bring him back too?? :D

when do we vote? Please put it on osrs homepage so we can see. Also i would like the ability to report a botter instead of getting the message that they have to talk or trade to report them. In case you dont know, bots dont talk unless they are the autospam ones. Im in favor of updates as long as they dont change the economy or the gameplay or pass exp and gp out like candy like in eoc.

Simple updates that make it easier such as bank tabs and resting are fine they dont really effect the game that much. Even minigames would be nice such as gop to make rcing a little less taxing and stars and evil trees. Those are just suggestion but it would be nice to give players something to do instead of the grind. I like it a little easy but not giving away exp. I'm not in favor of bxpw because again that is just an exp giveaway its about time we start to earn capes and not use boosted xp to get stuff.

Its already bad enough ppl are selling their eoc banks to get osrs items and gold. We dont need to encourage that laziness any further. Jagex may allow the cheat but people who support selling eoc cash arent doing nothing but supporting the eocers bots which run to farm enough gold to sell to lazy people and most likely these bot runners are selling the eoc cash they get for real money. If a person sell eoc cash for gold, they may as well run a bot because they support the filth.

I really really wish jagex wouldnt support this. Kinda contradicting when Jagex want to ban people who made hundreds of thousands in real life currency for selling rs gold but now they can do the same thing indirectly. I really want to see true osrs players working to a goal and not eoc handout nubs, who dont give a rats ass about osrs, buying their success so they can get top 20 rank.

Just a few things i had to get off my chest and suggestions.

Terrible idea at the person that said remove "Player Rushing" and everything else on page 27.

Runescape wasn't meant to be perfect which is why it was so fun, if your looking for "perfectness" for skilling or whatever go to EOC.

For whatever reason you have to go in the wild for questing, that's what makes it tough and fun. That's like putting a handicap on for questers, people did it back in 2007, what makes it harder now?

What happens if the yes vote is 74%? Will you simply round that one up too?
