Bare minimum for consensus for polls as 75%.. I'd prefer from 80-85% though.

Something that's split between the community (from 40%-75%) should be negotiated to suite needs better.

Let's stay true to the game, though.

1st Question: I think the polls should be a pop-upp window in-game requiring either a certain set amount of game time logged(like 4 hours to deter people skewing the results) or a set total level requirement(which is a better way of deterring skewers). Also a 75% majority should be fair for passage of a vote on small changes beta 80-85% majority should be required for bigger changes like the adding of content.

2nd Question: Honestly, the only changes I think should be added are convenience changes like tabs in banks, "tab pming", and other little quality of life changes. In my honest opinion there should be NO "unids" as they were primarily used to scam people(I can't think of a reason anybody would want them unless they intended to scam people) and they were not around during this time period of RS.

Heres some changes I *hink should be voted on:
-Improvement to the chat system(log in/out messages, tab to reply, carry into the next line, etc.).
-Introduction of the GE(just because I want to see whether it passes and I don't care if it gets added really).
-Introduction of some good quests would be nice.
-Adding "rares"(Santa hats, party hats, pumpkins) through Treasure Trails or random monster drops, which would be the only fair way to do it and still keep them "rare".


One change that ABSOLUTELY HAS to be implemented is the Route-Finder thing as it gets severely annoying when your trying to run through a room full of monsters but you can't since your character wants to run the other direction.


A cool idea I just had was for a marketplace advertising board in Varrock where someone could advertise the sale of an item in-game(so as to keep people from having to keep bumping their thread on the marketplace forum.

Also the Pipe Obstacle in the Gnome Agility Course NEEDS to be changed so more than one person can use it at a time as at busy times it can cause extreme waiting periods and frustration.


XUJ: I'm talking about in banks as that was a thing that made it much easier to keep your bank organized. Also, I believe it was implemented in 2008.

I voted for 2007 Runescape, as many other here, and I don't share the opinion that "The old graphics are what we voted for". In my opinion the game was at it's very best right after the HD graphics were implemented, making the game much more alive.

So, I see no problem at least giving a poll about it a try!

Alternative idea is having the option of choosing "low", "high" and "HD" graphics.

Regarding the game improving and updating polls, I think a strong majority is needed. Hard to say a precise number, but ~70% seems like a good idea. If it's any lower the update might need refining before becoming a reality.

I agree with at least 75% majority vote in polls.

As for updates, I wouldn't mind a slight graphics update like in 2008.

More hairstyle options like just a bit later in 2007.

No GE ever.

GWD I'm not sure on since I never used it anyway.

Make gambling mutable and ban able.

Anti-botting technology definitely needs to happen so hopefully we get enough votes.

Clan chat I am not a fan of. Having a gazillion chat channels is part of what killed the community, IMO.

Bank tabs would be nice. So would a re-sizable screen.

Any update that doesn't change the gameplay is ok with me.

Referring to how the polls would work,

If the vote does reach 500k so it is free to members you need to make some requirement to vote. Perhaps a minimum total level in OSRS or a minimum time spent playing it.

If the votes don't reach 500k then just make it so only those paying to play OSRS can vote.

I just want to say Jagex that from the bottom of my heart, thank you for bringing back '07 servers. Now I get a chance to relive my childhood all over again! :D

As for updates, I'm fine with them as long as they don't affect the actual gameplay, so I vote yes for tab reply but no on stuff like the G.E.
