One thing that would be somewhat useful (since it is and always has been in the game) is the ability to see who logs in and out.

player polls are a very good idea, with emphasis on player. Like tears of guthix, you should log a minimum of xp per week? month? since last vote? to be able to vote - so players with multiple accounts must play those accounts to earn multiple votes. And players who don't really play oldschool, don't get to vote.
No to ftp, increases risk of botting. FTP have main rs if they want access to a free game.
I really liked an earlier suggestion: when you log in you are given the vote option and there are 3 possible answers: yes, no and don't care. I think the don't care is important information in deciding whether or not to go ahead with a change.
Changing herbs to grimy would be great, as would ability to remove roofs in the graphics. I'm hearing a quite a bit of frustration with roofs in game as you cannot click through them.
A GE with suggested prices, but not fixed would help a lot. I don't understand why some want to spend so much time bartering or trying to find buyers/sellers. It's frustrating and just gets in the way of playing rs - it's the only thing I disliked about rs 2007 and jumped for joy when ge was introduced.
However i really miss my toolbelt and would appreciate it a lot if that could be added.

Firstly, how would you like the community polls to work? For instance, what degree of consensus should be required? i think 60 percent of the votes should be in favour of the change then it would be fair.
- Secondly, what content changes would you like to see shortlisted for the first polls?
id like the possibility to sell more than 10 runes etc at a time to shops, thats my only problem atm
