I'm glad to see blessed d'hide is keeping its magic and ranged defense stats. That'll be super helpful at godwars (can keep wearing it as a god item without having to swap to something like karil's).
I'm also excited about those changes to maces, spears, armours, warhammers, and the like. I'm a little excited to try it on my noob for training.
I don't think these changes need to be polled either. These are changes that should have been made at the beginning of when these items were being created, but they only ever came to light with data and player experience.
I'm also glad time completions will be reset at the bosses. That'll make it easier to compete fairly with everyone else.
I also wanted to say that these changes are not really game-breaking. It "ruins" a lot of current game play setups and makes it so "mid-level players" have to wait for "new metas" to be released, but honestly melee is already pretty powerful in a lot of situations, it's just harder to master avoiding damage (it honestly would be the meta if there wasn't a random "ranged" item, which shouldn't be faster than melee while letting you attack from a safe spot, yet was much faster than melee, that existed in the first place). And making us switch items and learn some new click rotations is not really as game-changing as overhauling the entire combat system (special attacks and all). Lots of new bosses already do that.
I'm excited for the new challenges that warranted the look into some of these issues in the first place. Though it'll probably be a while before I try them.
